So I reached lvl94 and got my last jewel slot, to celebrate that I double corrupted my Loreweave. +2 Barrage gives +20k dps soooo let's sell that trash. I also divine spammed my wand. went from 291pdps to 310.






Don't have any money to divine my loreweave haha.

On the topic of KB Clear is there a reason Tempest Binding isn't recc. even though we're still pseudo-Ele? For example our top DPS KB link after WED is Added Cold (Ice Bite), which would also allow for being able to skip Blood Raging for clear.

Downsides I can think of:
-Rarity of +1 Barrage on this helm (Can be mitigated, theoretically, so not technically a downside)
-Loss of 80~ potential resistances that would need to be made up elsewhere
So what a 30%ish increase to clear damage. At the cost of 1 skill use vs 2 and harder to get resistances lined out on what 4 pcs of gear 5 if you use a shield. Those places I might add being your damage mods that could have been. Swap gear prob sure but idk about as a perm set leaving it like that. Player choice?

I could actually fit Tempest Binding into my build, could get trires boots and a better shield.
So you would be trading damage for damage Bubonics vs tempest?

Prob counter productive given noone hardly enchants those helms. They do but there aren't many.

You say counter-productive but after having read through the 30~ or so relevant pages of this build's feedback it seems like the largest issue is clear, whereas the author himself has pointed out once you reach a certain amount of damage you're going to only be increased Guardian/Shaper clerspeed by 1-2 seconds.

Therefore I don't think it's entirely remiss to be discussing ways to drop the least amount of single target -- yeah, very aware, we're going to be losing single target DPS -- to bolster other areas of gameplay. Perhaps this is a heretical idea in softcore, but one I think may need a more serious look at.

I'm not suggesting The Tempest's is the solution, merely initiating additional conversation in this vein.

Maybe you miss interpreted my meaning I was debating. What your talking about would be a damage transfer(with out going into math) ~30% damage in the helm in exchange for ~30% on the boots which affects both skills where as the helm for KB only am I wrong? Also decreasing the use of 2 KBs with out leach/mana gain to 1 use should you miss(also problematic but avoidable) but Like I said if you want to play swap gear sure it's player choice. That's all I meant. That and don't forget we have another rework patch coming for range. Maybe some stuff in there for us nvr know.


What I meant by counter productive is if you want a chant for KB(clear) or Barrage (ST) your prob going to have to get it yourself or set up a market watch for it. That didn't mean anything more than what I said.

Tbo. being able to do both would work for me I hate swap gear tbo same with gem swapping. So if that can be done with out losing a crap tone of damage mods on rings and ammy I'm all for it

The downsides I could think of are:
- You NEED to stack res on one of these rares (shield, boots, helm, rings, belt) to make room for MORE damage on other slots (belt can gives big DPS too).

- It makes the mana cost unmanageable, I slotted my KB into a Conc. Effect helm and I can't sustain it like I used to.

- Much less life and res than a rare helm, and misses the opportunity to craft
-9% resist and/or pierce.

You can craft good rare helm with +1 Barrage for cheap, whereas Tempest Binding might not be the same situation. The cost outweight the benefit imho.

Nice gz on 94; guess you can farm high-tier content all day now since you don't have to level lol. Should try dropping life flask and using 4th utility or damage flask for the lols.

Honestly, you can just stop there and multimod that amulet: something like WED, flat life, minimum frenzy should be enough for it to be a solid amulet. Idr if damage while leeching was a prefix but if so that's something you can consider instead of WED if the cost isn't too high. This mod should be active so long as your blood rage is active. Worst case scenario you roll a high attribute roll on Loreweave and use Lethal Pride for ur strength req. And settle with a slightly lower level Cwdt - steelskin.

Your first wand is better; the second one is slightly worse maybe 20-50k worse. Only the one in my guide is better than both. Don't waste your money getting a new wand; the difference is only ~80k dps; u can make up for it elsewhere.
