I'm a little bit unsure about where to focus my attention gearwise. This is what i have currently:
Spoiler
Which isn't great by any means. next up was to get a lvl 21 PS gem at the very least though i'm missing int for that. What would be the best "bang for my buck" upgrade besides that? Also on a small sidenote, when it comes to dps amulets, what stats exactly should you prioritize over life, crit multi and resists should you happen to need any?
" The budget bow version is similar to wander build with just a few items being different. It has more DPS but also higher cost. I plan on fully updating the bow guide before the end of today. All the gear is shown in the second POB link in the pastebin section so you can use that as a blueprint in the meantime. The gear sections also contain mostly up-to-date info. If there's a discrepancy between what's in the gear section + what's on POB, go with the items shown on POB. " Hey thanks for the feedback; if you were using a wander setup it's very easy to deal with blood rage problem, b/c you just have it in your shield, press X twice to weapon swap and it ends the degen automatically. For bows yeah it can be annoying; I wish there was an easy solution to this. The least annoying way to end degen is to open inventory menu and quickly double click the item your Blood rage is socketed in. (make sure unequipping the item doesn't mess with attribute req; a good place is the gloves). A lot of people actually try to find to find the gem socket and un-socket the gem itself to end degen, which is a huge pain in the ass. Double clicking your gloves real quick is much more efficient altho still annoying. I think regardless, it's not a good idea to run without quicksilver just b/c the huge loss to clearspeed.
" I'll get back to you either here or via PM later with a POB once I finish updating the guide. If you can afford mirrored gear, having 100%+ quant is a trivial matter. Mirrored wands are the most important items, and Foe Bites should be very cheap relatively speaking. For quant, there is a mirrored option that provides a very good amount of damage for the ring slots, and you can get 40% quant from 2x of them. Otherwise, I think beast splitting legacy 20% quant rings and multimodding will be ok as well. For gloves especially you can prob go with Sadima's without affecting Wise Oak balance. Mai Cedere also has some mirror tier MF gloves and boots, which can be used in your current Windripper MF setup, and you can probably also use those in your wander as well and still do all content (not sure about awakener b/c his giant vortexes are too BS right now). A good cost cutting measure is buying older generation mirrored gear, b/c they're probably half the price and gives only slightly less DPS. " I think you could go for Hyrri's Truth; it'll carry your damage for a while, prob into the low 90s. I think replacing your adrenaline suffix on diamond flask for Warding will help a lot too since rn it's a wasted mod. Your belt + jewels are probably the next best slots to upgrade for more damage. I only mention rings last because Mark of the Elder is still pretty expensive in league right now. I'm going to add a trade link for amulets soon; still working on the weighted sum values atm. There are a lot of dps mods on amulets that you can go for. I suggest reading the section on weighted modifiers in the guide and looking at the values at the bottom to convert each mod into points (the numbers are slightly off, but that's doesn't matter too much). There are a lot of good amulet mods such as flat cold, flat phys, %phys as extra cold, ele pen, cold pen, crit chance, %WED, non-chaos as extra chaos, etc. Deciding which amulet is better dps than another just depends on what combination + tier of these mods you have so the only real way to tell is either plug into POB, or use weighted sum to estimate it.
" Cant believe i didnt think of that, thank you, I currently have my BR setup in helmet, gonna fix that up tomorrow!
I'm curious why you recommend corrupted Hrimsorrow gloves over Commandment of Fury enchant. In my experience the enchant is a much better QoL, and higher DPS, in most scenarios.
Also, is Blood Rage still worth it with +2/3 minimum frenzy charges on jewelry?
" I've done calculations for all the glove enchants before, and none of them provide much single target DPS when it matters most (against endgame bosses). Some of them are decent for enhancing clear, so I don't dispute that Commandment of Fury might be a better QOL for that purpose. As for single target, this build doesn't scale fire damage, so a projectile with 5s cooldown that converts 50% to fire is not going to impact single target DPS in any meaningful way. The DPS it provides is equivalent to firing a default attack every 2 seconds. On the other hand, base crit or attack speed corruptions are scaling all 30+ barrage projectiles per second. I personally think minimum frenzies are still worth it, because you wont have frenzies up for most endgame bosses using Blood Rage. Then again it'll depend on what content you want to target farm + how comfortable you are with your single target. But it's safe to say against most of the guardians (Elder/Awakener/Shaper) as well as the main endgame boss fights themselves, minimum frenzies will be unrivaled for DPS. Alright I've fully updated all the trade links for every potential rare slot in the wander guide. So everybody should be able to find something within their budget without much hassle. I think the wander guide is pretty much finished for now aside from some minor things. I will try to finish off the bow guide in a few hours.
" I'm going to be adding trade links to the bow guide in the next few hours, so I suggest waiting til then to take the jewel sockets/buy jewels. In the meantime copy the POB in the bow section and take as few jewel sockets as possible (unless u feel confident enough to find optimal jewels yourself). Prioritize other nodes first pretty much. I might add a step by step tree later on once I make more sweeping changes.
Alright, I think I'm rolling one of these wanders now and will follow your guide. I'll give you some feedback from the perspective of a relatively average player as I go :)
