[3.13] ESSENCE DRAIN / BANE / SOULREND Occultist / Trickster Build. STARTER & UBER Elder Carry!

Hi, are you going to update the guide to 3.7 before the Legion's start? I know that it is a lot of work but I would like to try this build in the new league:D

I checked my Occultist tree after the nerf, made all adjustments I could to get all new es nodes to compensate.. And I still lost more than 2k es!

It's really bad hit for occultist, before 3.7 you could ignore Discipline altogether and still get more es than what you get in 3.7 (with lvl 22 Discipline amulet)

The dps lose on Bane doesn't hurt a lot, in fact it doesn't hurt at all if you use it as secondary spell to apply curses and thinning smaller mobs that gets in the way.

The range nerf in Soulrend hurts the single target, and hurts the pack clearing, and overall hurt the uptime of Soulrend. Which wouldn't be too if they didn't nerf es as well. We could invest more in AOE, Duration, or cast speed and sacrifice some unnecessary nodes to bring the uptime to 100% again. But now we need to also invest a lot in es to get a thrid of what we lost..

It's hit from both sides, and will make soulrend worse all the way. But we still get the auto aim and the long reach.. It will still be able to do Legion fine, but don't expect it to break entire army without much investment in casting speed, and mana regeneration, and area of effect!

I still can't bring myself to play ED + Contagion, it's just a playstyle that's not for me.

-POBs updated
-1500k ES less now:( . Not so tanky boi now, just your casual 9k normie :(
-Wicked Ward gone from the Ascendancy, so we have 2 options: Profane Bloom or Frigid Wake. Profane Bloom is great for Bane, Frigid Wake is great for everything else and especially Uber Elder.
-dropped starting ES nodes in Witch Area (they are SHIT now!)
-took Insightfulness instead
-took Wicked Ward now on the tree (optional now!)

Hey, how does the Bloodwork - Malevolance work? cuz i cant seem to be able to use it. It says my life is too low for it.

you need to level up blood magic to reduce reservation, as blood magic greatly increases it
