First time playing POE and using this build. I cant figure out why use Skitter Bots?

Also, does it matter that the 6 link is in the chest versus the staff?

I'm new to the game, on the skill three, how can I allocate the Divine Judgement skill at the far left.

I don't see anything really glaring except for the "attacks" thing. maybe a tweak here and there, like a helmet with the incinerate +2 levels instead, and some of the gems, like Orb of Storms and you're missing WOC attached to your CWDT

have you run this through POB? That will tell you some better numbers about dps and total hit

Thanks for the input. POB dps (on maximum charges) is shown as 593k which is more than the 551k from the recommended build. But in reality I feel it's not even half of what he has (judging from his Uber Atziri video).

The Lucidity point on the skill tree seems to sort all my mana problems, I very rarely run out of mana, only when channeling for a very long time without moving.

I followed your advice and added WOC gem now on the boots replacing increased duration. Also changed the ring enchant to % increased fire damage (remove the fire damage to attacks).

I must mention I also use a cluster gem and got some points there that combined add 100% elemental damage plus some mana regeneration.

If it's really going to make a difference I could throw another 2.5ex in and add enlighten level 4 and skitterbots.

And what do you mean about orb of storms?

the build doesn't need orb of storms or summon skeletons

593k isn't terrible, you may also need to tweak POB with some configuration settings specific for the build to get to the real numbers (which are actually probably higher).

if you look at the full build POB, the average hit is 223k and the total dps is 3.2 million, so you have a ways to go :)

I get a boost from running the skitterbots with Infernal Legion.. everything is always on fire for me

But as time and experience has proven, Torstein is way more lucky with crafting and drops than I will ever be :)

if you look at the full build, go under configuration, you will see things to turn on based on what bits you have, such as putting the check mark for Do you use Inspiration Charges, enabling Pendulum of Destruction (if you have Ascendency), checkmarking Is the enemy Ignited, checking Infusion, setting Sand Stance, etc.

skitter bots add dps by shocking and chilling everything by the time you are casting on them

initially, not really. as you get higher and things hit a lot harder, you will want the Kaoms for the huge boost in life

up until the last 2 leagues, there was no requirement for it.

now, there is even still a huge discussion in global 2 of if it's even needed

where do the frenzy charges come from if we add +1 to the min on each ring and neck?

do we just naturally generate them, and do we have 0 since we are adding to the minimum?

checking the box in POB for using frenzy dramatically raises the avg hit and total dps, so this got my attention

Can you please take a look at my PoB? Provided I'm a couple levels behind and I'm missing a jewel and aspect of spider, my dps appears to be extremely low compared to the original pob..
