" Well, before If nothing else worked I would start farming Shaper and Uber Elder, can't do that now either. No maps at value to sell, no good item too, basically i'm playing ssf in a trade league. Would something like The Searing Touch work while I get together the currency for a Martyr's? Any other alternatives that would benefit the build weapons-wise? Only level 44 atm, but I'm just kinda looking to the future a bit.

" now I understand your new character name! :) it's like this for me all the time. I'm always broke. Every league, every character. I'm always doing the chaos recipe.. I pick up every everything that will sell for more than a scroll fragment.. I have to This league, on my first map, from my first meta, dropped my one and only ex so far, that got me a 5 link Martyr, 823 fusing's later (I got really lucky) and every bit of currency I had, I at least have a decent weapon. Maps still won't drop, so I'm stuck at t3 with no stones... and no enlighten gem drop yet.. yay... am thinking the next best thing for me is an amulet with % dmg penetration, they are still kinda cheap any other unlucky person out there wants to partner up to just blow through maps, give me a yell.. maybe 2 unlucky people grouped will flip the luck to positive :) |

So with the way metamorph fights work and play out, with many rare adds, some of you might want to try Vaal Detonate Dead, which this build scales fully.

Fresh as hell to the game, this looks like a load of fun. Question: Would this work with something like Scorching Ray w/ Cast While Channeled Firestorm? I haven't even made a character yet, but I've been doing a bit of research before I get started, and Scorching Ray has some really nice MTXs. It seems like it'd be fairly similar, with dmg from both skill sets being fire/channeled/AoE. Maybe something like Scorching Ray/CWC/Firestorm/Combustion/Controlled Destruction/Elemental Focus? Just want to get a path laid out before I get started. Thanks!
