Yes, but it is not crazy fast as storm brand or traps.
Took me 8 hours to hit maps as league start in 3.5 and I respecced to CI within two days.

But if many people use as league start the howa might be expensive and hence will take more grind.

Regular molten strike is very strong. If you find yourself in a pickle getting currency you might consider putting more passive into physical nodes and the. Big. Notable that converts 50% damage to fire damage or use phys to lightning support for full ele conversion.

But the build is not noob friendly, I have to say

Yes it is very strong, but not for this build. The damage provided does not surpass elemental focus or damage on full life.

Might be awesome to try out if you go for a 700-800 es vaal regalia to keep your leech% high :)

Last league I made is as leaguestarter softcore and first hardcore character. Took me 8 hours to reach maps with all labs done.
Then I started grinding for currency + crafting most of the gears myself and bought the uniques in the listed priority at both Softcore fresh leaguestart and Hardcore mid league :)

Getting a HoWA + Astramentis is enough for farming uber lab and T10'ish maps while using life.
Could either farm tabula, or use a 5link 3r 2b/4r 1b or grind a 6linked str/int armour :)

I respecced from life to CI within 2 days both at softcore and hardcore.

But I do admit, using a pure rare storm brand elementalist is easier because it does not require thinking.

This guide also relieves you from thinking, since I actually wrote everything down you should do, lol.

But Hand Of Wisdom might be a bottleneck aswell if the amount of people using this as starter is very high.

Edit: About respeccing. It is not expensive. You need to respec like 20-30 points or something, so you would need something like 15 regrets to do it :)

But what if try ES leech + these new gloves? It's like almost +75% dmg from gem + also slayer things
