My bad, first time i ask for a look at profile and i didn't realise it was set to private by default.
So a little update. Reached lvl 85 and bought 3 jewels that really changed how the build feels.

- 2% off perfect, this little thing actually gives me 26% increased attack speed. People seem to forget about the "Undeniable" ascendancy.
- gonna slam these babies with Leo when I get him to research. Bought them fairly cheap too, <100c.

The build is actually heavily based on the jewels. The onslaught jewel is really a big deal though. I feel like OP didn't really express just how good the 7% for onslaught is. It's basically on all the time and makes the build glide around the map like a hot knife through butter.


The 8.6m dps is not really possible though. It would only be possible against a cursed white mob with infinite health.
The more realistic situation is the shaper dps - which comes out to something like 4-5 m I'd guess (the magma ball dps is >700k instead of 1.2m). For a build that is as tanky as this - that's a fuckload of dps and it really feels like it. The only clunky mechanic that you need to get used to is positioning yourself right to make use of the ancestral call support gem.

Given the above, a curse on hit gloves with ele weakness come at roughly 650k dps per magma ball (with OP's gear), but they do allow you to use the 4 sockets as you like and a global curse on hit is way less clunky than a CwDT orb with CoH. You do lose the 10% attack speed corruption though, which is a shame.

All in all the build feels amazing even at 9k es. Hitting 12k es requires quite a lot of min maxing tho. Basically all your gear needs to be on the high end of the rolls and most of your jewels need the energy shield affix. 12k es is not needed though, unless you deep delve or like to tank T13 malachai's slams for no reason.

You can sell your 21/20 molten strike and get a 21/0 one without losing any damage. This will save you like a 100c.

Get a lvl 1 23% quality whirling blades AND DON'T LEVEL IT UP. This keeps the mana cost low.

You're still missing some es nodes near the witch start. If you want to hit 12k es - it will require some investment. An increased discipline effect cyclopean coil would be a start (unless you can afford a +% int one). Make sure most of your jewels got the +%es or +# es(for abyss) mods. You can gain about a 100es on your shield which should add about 250 es or more.
Again, as in my previous post, hitting 12k isn't easy and requires sacrificing either damage or attack speed.
Your gear is good. Don't worry to much. I did not look your jewels. Keep in mind that the last 7 passive you have incoming are mostly going into energy shield :)

I have died with two different characters on hardcore now.
This made me look into the tree a bit, because I hate keep trying to find those good jewels everytime.

I have worked out some trees that take less jewelslots, but still make alot of impact.

I will share these tomorrow when I calculate the dps on them.

Atm I have 11.8k ES and 1.68 mio dps pr magma ball, where I have removed two jewel sockets and specced into the minion damage thingy because we actually gain 78% increased damage + some accuracy for 5 points.

I will try to reroll for a third time on hardcore, but then I am going to retire from the build afterwards :)

Keep in mind that searching jewels do not have many wanted prefix.

The only thing you could hit that has relevance is +mana.

It is only murderous jewels that have +lightning to claw attacks.

What do you think about running a frenzy-gmp-curse on hit-proj weakness setup? This would allow for a reliable frenzy/curse generation against bosses. Against trash mobs we never need the curse anyway and we can easily frenzy once against the syndicate.

I have tried using frenzy and it feels so bad pressing that button for the frenzy charges. I have been trying to try to remove the blood rage, because we do not fully get the energy shield build feeling due to not being able to energy shield recharge.

I do not think a cwdt+frenzy generates enough charges for us though.


I cannot think of other ways to generate frenzy charges for the build, because we realy need the attack speed.

This is always an option. Would also free up some ele resist space. The jewel is 4.5 ex. We do lose a jewel slot and 5% ele pen tho. We'd also loose the ~18% att. speed from blood rage.
