I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better DPS boost than +6 levels to Herald of Agony gem. % increased minion damage/attack speed mods don't scale too well as you already get tons of increased damage/attack speed from Virulence stacks.

Gem levels are by far the best way to scale damage for your Agony Crawler. However outside of CIP daggers, it gets quite expensive to stack lots of +gem levels on weapons.

If you're using Storm Brand instead of Cyclone/Barrage, a competitive weapon setup to CIP daggers would be rare minion wands with two +1 gem level mods.

This is because you can combo with Hatred and use EE to lower cold resist of enemies. You would also be able to bench craft 'cast socketed spell when you use a skill' for much greater quality of life, as it removes the need for CWDT and provides more reliable uptime of your offering and curse. These benefits more than make up the drop of +gem levels from +3 to +2.

However, a wand like that would cost around 8 to 10ex each.

Got to t16 this league with this build, super tanky and all, but the meta oneshots are absolutely ridiculous. Great build for anything BUT the league mechanic, as i gotta stay in melee to hit stuff with cyclone and can't see squat with all the blackiest blackness. Sadly had to reroll to necro, meta has too much good loot to ignore it.

That's why I prefer the Stormbrand version. If you have a dangerous enemy you can just kite him until he dies. It is a lot safer.
And your dps is the same. You lose the withering stacks, but the Grip of the Council gloves compensate for that.

Does anyone has tried Sirus with it ? Was looking for an "easy" sirus build without random One shot (which happens sometimes with my COC Ice nova).
What setup would you use ? Quill Rain or double CIP ? Storm Brand or Cyclone ?

What do you think about death's door ?
I also don't get why empower lvl 4 gives less DPS than vicious projectiles lvl 20

1. I'm running double CIP Cyclone and Sirus is very doable but a bit slow to kill. Haven't looked into alternative builds much this league but IIRC miners and true summoners are ideal for farming him.

2. Get the "corrupted blood cannot be inflicted on you" implicit on your Golden Rule jewel instead. They go for around 3-4 exalts atm which is not too bad considering the implic itself on a throw away jewel with only 7% life is worth 1 exalt. Or you can buy them uncorrupted for like 5c each and vaal gamble til you hit it. Should be 2.5% chance unless GGG changed the weighting.

3. Maybe PoB isn't accounting for the crawler's reduction in attack speed from VP? Idk that's a question for bigger brains than mine :)

Most important thing for Sirus is getting good chaos resist. You can get a good chunk of it from a cheap Circle of Nostalgia Ring with the mod that grants extra chaos resist when using HoAG.

Storm Brand and Cyclone would work better for the fight than Quill Rain as it allows you to DPS while moving. My only experience with Sirus fight is with Storm Brand, but IMO Cyclone works better for Sirus as you still get the similar level of mobility but you're able to keep Virulence stacks up much easier.

With double CIP's and positive chaos resist, everything is facetankable on around A4 or so. With A8, I switched to Saffell's Frame with one CIP dagger and the only thing that could kill me was his big multi-hit beam attack. However, with shield setup, the boss DPS is pretty low (under 1M) so the fight takes quite a while.

Thanks Cyclone feels better to play so I'll probably try it, just a bit afraid about mana regen (even with a ring -2 channeling mana cost). And if I don't feel safe enough for other bosses like Uber Elder or some metamorph I'll probably swap to storm brand

Your mana gain on hit from Thief's Torment should provide enough sustain.

Metamorphs were the main reason I switched to Storm Brand from Cyclone. Some of their attacks were straight up one shots that your LGOH won't help against.

I wanted to post here and thank you for the guide. I want to preface that I strictly play this build on softcore so I am able to really push the build to its fullest potential.
