[3.6] The Blizz Sorc - Icestorm/Winter Orb CI Occultist - Viable For Everything
Those are some seriously sexy boots!
Are you sure this is your last craft? You know you want to break 20,000 ES. :D |

Hey guys, what is the best (cheapest) way to craft two desired mods (and only two for future multicraft), which both are suffixes? I mean smth like "+to intelligence" and "+to all Attributes" on amulet for example...

" Kinda is i think, though breaking 20K ES is not an issue at this momment i can simply re-spec Divine Judgement cluster (4 skill points) if i really want to and take +10 Intelligence skill point + Unnatural Calm cluster (3 skill points) and there you have it 20.180 ES and 2758 Intelligence but i loose like 9% Shaper Average Hit damage for single target Icestorm. My only regret probably this league is that i couldn't successfully craft a Synth amulet with double implicit (15% intelligence and 1% damage increased per 15 intelligence). Crafted like 3 of them but only with 15% intelligence, no double mod lucky roll. And buying one to meta-craft on it is out of discussion, owners are only using these bases for Mirror fossil craft service which is just a currency sink if you want to go for this service hoping you'll hit a decent one with T1 Intelligence and T1 attributes suffixes and some + maximum ES or % increased ES prefixes Last edited by lilianmarius on May 7, 2019, 12:50:06 PM

I gotcha...you've done a lot with this build and I've learned so much just watching. Always good to know there is another Uber Gucci item out there.
Interesting about Divine Judgement...I didn't realize it added that much damage. I noticed that you kept it in your new tree but removed the Breath of Rime cluster and I was curious why but now it makes sense. I had to remove both to switch to a Talisman and I've been adding Breath of Rime back but I had often wondered if Divine Judgement was the better choice. I'm just about to hit Lv 97 so perhaps I will try to respec into DJ...I could probably do it if I picked more DEX or STR on a ring or piece of armour. That will most likely be the last level I go for...grinding for really high levels is a bit too tedious for me especially with my lousy internet connection. |

" About 20 tries here with no success. Every try was using 3x 2fractured mods (3 stat) amulets. I got everything you can imagine: (XX / 10%ES), (XX / 8%mana), (XX / 12%str/dex), (XX / spell dmg), (XX / any res), where XX is (15%Int) OR (1%dmg per 15 int), but no one with both int stats together... | |
How's the DPS in this build, single-target and mob wise?
|

" It is very hard (almost impossible) to calculate the build DPS, you can only get exact numbers for single icikle, and then estimate total DPS, suggesting number of icicles that hits the target per second. Therefore bigger the boss - higher your DPS, and your DPS will be much lower against fast moving bosses. Having 54k shaper damage per icicle (according PoB), i can melt Minotaur/Phoenix in few seconds standing stationary. And my stats are far from the top players numbers (2225 Int / 15k ES) Last edited by XKent on May 9, 2019, 4:44:07 AM

" You can use this Firestorm/Whispering Ice damage calculator to see the real damage you can output based on your stats and based on the mob you hit(normal mob, boss). https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1__amWXx4uPtt-ywgULZ7Rx86_A0lqhaLkqK4KHsU-TU/edit?usp=sharing Save a local copy of it and edit following fields with values from your build (taken from PoB): Average Damage per hit - enter your from PoB Skill Duration - enter your value from PoB Casting time - enter your value from PoB Enemy Radius - Default value is 2, bosses are normally 3 or even higher if the boss is a a big one "mofo" (example: crab boss from Reef map) but normally 3 is an accepted default value for bosses Skill Area Radius - enter your value from PoB Impact Radius - enter your value from PoB For me after 8.05s of IceStorm casting(my IceStorm duration) the damage value is 3.519 million which is the maximum DPS i can output over a target if all my IceStorms hit the target after a 8 seconds precast. |

The Average Damage per hit value (49.450) used in the simulation is calculated with the following characteristics in PoB: -enemy is a boss (Shaper/Guardian) -no flasks checked -no Vaal Righthouse Fire -Frostbite/Bonechill/Frost Bomb up -3x Frenzy Charges -always on full Energy Shield checked (lower Energy Leech DPS multiplier) -have been hit recently checked (for flat cold damage boots enchant to be taken in consideration) Now keeping in mind that Shaper has 18.328.731 HP i tested myself the real DPS of the skill (multiple Shaper runs) with 8 seconds precast on him with an Average Damage per hit of 50.250 (no Frenzy charges but 2x DPS flasks up (Bottled Faith + The Wise Oak) Shaper is going down to 50% of his HP(so around 9.160.000 HP lost) in around 4 seconds so i can conclude that the real DPS for single target against Shaper at least is something around 2.3 million value (not all the icicles hit him so thats why the lower value compared with the calculator one) Last edited by lilianmarius on May 9, 2019, 8:08:23 AM
