[3.6] The Blizz Sorc - Icestorm/Winter Orb CI Occultist - Viable For Everything
" bought for 3ex. sold for 2ex a minute ago. prices dropping below 1.5ex already
" Laughs in 30% increased ES recovery while using Discipline Watcher's Eye.... I saw it coming! |
|
" Yeah, i think that decision of the balance team is rather crude. I thought that zealotry would be 50%, or atleast 40% to compensate that it works only on ES leech. But now that we know that it's just 30%, it's just inferior version of discipline one... Not only won't force you to add aura (absolutely ANY ES character have discipline), but also works for regen too (which is major point, considering that ES leech now don't use vaal pact). What can i say - shame on balance team! SHAME!!! |

" well, at least it was fun when it lasted, paid 1ex sold for 1ex, no loss, there on the upside, you dont have to choose, plain and simple :) Last edited by adambog on Mar 14, 2019, 4:11:36 AM

" "Shaper" and 2 "life regeneration" nodes beside it, to grab top left jewel socket of scion. Really want to grab "sanctity" too, 10 Int and str, 1% regen, 10% ES really sweet, but can't find a good way to do it, without wasting 2 additional points. |

" There is no special god-tier gear pieces for this build to be honest, anything different that is written in the build guide. Last league with this build i reached some insane values: 19.270 ES (insane ES value for any CI build) and 2.609 Intelligence and was almost immortal with those values (Uber Elder and deep mine Auls can be tanked 100% with these values)- total value of the gear for that character probably over 150 exalts. God tier gear means as much ES and Int as possible in every piece of gear including Jewels. That means get as much (implicit or explicit) +Int, %increased Intelligence, %increased attributes, +attributes and so on on every piece of gear you can think of (including Jewels - Emperor Mastery and Emperor Wit lab Jewels for example) Last edited by lilianmarius on Mar 14, 2019, 6:26:04 AM

" I would agree with most of it, but it would probably be better to especially mention shaper amulet with "12% increased attributes" and "1% increased damage per 10 int". It is kind of specific gear that not included in basic "more ES, more flat int" :) Oh, and if we are talking about GOD tier, i guess double corruption for 12% int on every piece of jewelery would be nice :) |
|
" OK, i'll try to make a list of GOD-tier items for this build based on my experience with playing it: Chest (Shaper Vaal Regalia base ilvl 84+): 800+ ES, 12% increased Intelligence, Tier 1 flat Intelligence Helm (Hubris Circlet base): 350+ ES, Tier 1 flat Intelligence, Nearby enemies have -9% to cold resistances (delve mod), +Resistances Gloves (Fingerless Silk Gloves base): 250+ ES, Tier 1 flat Intelligence, +Resistances Boots (Sorcerer Boots base): 200+ ES, Tier 1 flat Intelligence, 35% increased movement speed, +Resistances Belt (Cyclopean Coil - corrupted): 12% increased Intelligence (double corruption), 15% increased Attributes Amulet (Shaper base Onyx/Agate/Citrine): 12% increased Attributes, Tier 1 +Attributes, 1% increased damage per 15 Intelligence, Tier 1 flat Intelligence, Tier 1 +Maximum Energy Shield, %increased Maximum Energy Shield (craftable also) or Tier 1 %increased Spell Damage Rings (corrupted): 12% increased Intelligence (double corruption), Tier 1 flat Intelligence, Tier 1 +Maximum Energy Shield , +Resistances Jewels: Watcher's Eye with 3 mods: +ES gain on hit while using Discipline %increased ES recovery while using Discipline Gain % of Maximum Mana as Extra Maximum Energy Shield while using Clarity Emperor Mastery Prismatic Jewel : 7% increased attributes Emperor Wit Cobalt Jewel: 6% increased intelligence Getting all those items would probably cost a kidney or two though :) Last edited by lilianmarius on Mar 14, 2019, 7:24:06 AM

"Or more :) For example, there are no 12%int Coils even in standard.
Do we not get coldhearted calculation like stated in the leveling guide?
Wear your Int/ES gear. Replace Life Leech with Energy Leech. Do the Merciless lab (take Wicked Ward). Head into the maps and work on the final tree: - Arcane Focus - Foresight - Path of the Savant - Coldhearted Calculation - socket between Witch and Shadow (rare) - Shadow area socket (rare) - socket near Light Eater (Brute Force Solution or Fertile Mind) + 30 Str or Dex node nearby - socket between Templar and Marauder (Brute Force Solution) - socker near the Scion start (Brute Force Solution) - Zealot's Oath |
