Keeping in mind that now we have also regen from ZO and and regen on kill from Occultist Ascendancy and our max lech rate is lower, Kelvynn, do you think a Watcher's Eye with 30% ES recovery with Discipline is a better choice than Es gain on hit with Discipline ?

Es recovery WE is now 2.5 EX just sold the Kaom and i have that currency should i go for it or wait to get more currency for WE with ES gain on hit ?

personally im going with ES on hit for mapping, and that sweet 180% es max leech with zealotry, for bosses, already brouhgt hubris head with 15% reduced zealotry mana res, planing on going with that mana reservation nodes in templar area and go zeal + AA + disci, but thats just a fun side project, killed uber elder with "stock" build settings :)

Maybe just a play style adjustment necessary - when clearing, I like to pre-cast to the edge of the screen to build some WO stacks, so if there is a pack once you flame dash into range, it's already doing some damage and proc'ing EO and so by the time you cast Icestorm it finishes them off very quickly.

For bosses, pre-cast as usual and then flame dash into range and facetank until they're dead (dodge the telegraphed big hits as required).

Kelvynn may have a different opinion, but here is how I see it...

I'm in camp Zealotry myself, but last league I got an early ES on Hit watcher's eye, and it made a BIG difference. Orb of storms provides way more ES than you would think, and it protects you from "Afk" hits.. also gives you quick instant recovery before Leech kicks in. It's very noticeable not having the ES on hit, doing the same content.

That being said, if you are not planning on going Zealotry, that extra leech could be invaluable during boss fights.

My advice, ES on Hit for now, and maybe pick up the ES recovery (or a Zealotry) for the Big fights.

My personal perfect Watchers would be Zealotry 180% increase, ES on Hit/Disipline, and Mana/clarity. Willing to sell 1 kidney.

Got The %increased ES recovery one, it was "only" 2.5 Ex - all the money in the bank and it was also perfect rolled 30%. (with 8K ES this adds around 720 ES to max leech of 2.4K ES). Adding also 50% from Blood Rage would set max leech to 4.4K ES and this only for 8K ES.

And probably also ES regen is bumped by %increased ES recovery so thats also a bonus

Zealotry one is no go for me since i have to not socket PoI (for Uber Elder/Aul fights) and also to spend points on tree to -mana reservation nodes points i can use in other area like Intelligence.

And the +ES on hit WE's are going now for 4.5-5 exalts which i don't have and i think will not drop in price on short term.

You'll take Blood Rage damage with the setup, the amount of damage you take can be mitigated by regen, Soul of Ralakesh, or a basalt flask.

When it procs, blood rage will start (if it isn't already), Immortal call with pop off, and you'll get several seconds of super leech. The playstyle takes a bit of getting used to. but it's worth it in hard fights.

For some reason my ball lightning procs bug out my winterstorm cast and my character is stuck in a cast animation of winterstrom which got me killed a few times not realizing my charterer wasnt casting winterstorm any suggestions pls ?
