yea , spell cascade doesn't work anymore... also from 1.8 k INT 1.668 , i don;t see the advantages seriously , only nerf.......

" Nah, you are overreacting. Let me ask you a question, why we have less int than before? Mostly because we now need 6 additional skill points to grab ES leech nodes. But together with that we free gemslot for additional damage, and that's a lot of damage. You can still get same ammount of int if you want by sacrificing some of that damage, and it will still not be lower than before. And spell cascade issue isn't "nerf", it's a bug. Firestorm still supported properly, and this is basically the same skill. Well, also i don't really see that much point in spell cascade either. When you get good winter orb setup, your clearing will be good even without spell cascade, and maybe even better. |

If I try firestorm handcasting, it work with spell cascade. When I try to channeling WO with CwC firestorm cascade does not work. It doesnt look like bug, but intended change. If that is really the case, I bet ES leech gem will not work too :( maybe some hidden CwC nerf? I hope not, but I am not optimist. But it is strange that they didnt mention anything in patch notes.

I have a suspicion - could it be that CwC gives Icestorm the Channeling tag for some reason? We know Spell Cascade won't work with channeling skills, this seems like a logical explanation, albeit an unintended interaction.

another player found out thet in fact CwC is the problem: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2453411/page/1#p21748890 i confirmed it with firestorm (ie. firestorm + cascade = OK, firestorm + cascade + CwC = BAD) |
