[3.13] SPECTRE SUMMONER (2021 Edition) Necromancer Build. BEST League Starter! + VIDEO GUIDE!

I'm prefering fire pen since a slight loss of trash dps shouldn't hurt with the amazing map clear this build has.

Why is everyone using arc/bl? Been running with stormbrand to trigger EE and stuff and it feels nicer.

I'm guessing most folks aren't using Storm Brand just because it's new and haven't tried it yet.

I like Arc because it auto-targets and chains to destroy lots of objects.

Ball Lightning was nice because it lasted for awhile off a single cast. Storm Brand looked like it had a better duration, but not sure about coverage.

How does Storm Brand work for targeting, coverage and object destruction?

The main reason I like it above the others is the targeting.
With arc, as soon as I stop casting it and run away or around the boss my spectres stop attacking.
With the brand they seem to stay on the boss a lot better due to it still damaging the boss even when I start moving.

Not sure about coverage, probably similar to arc. I only really cast stuff against syndicate or bosses anyway.

How well does the aura from your helmet work for the AG? This seems like a good idea since ~9% more damage should always outperform 15% increased minion damage.

Also about your boot craft, if you use dense, pristine and bound your chances of getting movement speed would be even higher. You'd have to craft life on it though, so you can't roll like 90 more life there. But what are the chances of getting high life, ms and spectre with your combo?

AG are melee so they are more likely to be near bosses than spectres so it should be more active than Leer Cast. Positioning is like Blasphemy debuffing bosses versus aura buffing allies.

Pristine with Dense removes 2 life prefixes and 2 suffixes so you will more than likely always hit MS (MS, rarity, and mana), however, you're forced to master craft life since Dense will remove life entirely. Even after removing all those affixes you aren't guaranteed to roll better MS than master crafting's 20%.

I would recommend Shuddering over Dense for Powerful Resonators or just spamming more Potent Bound/Pristine to save a couple more chaos.

Bound, Pristine, and Shuddering after master crafting should net you spectre boots with 60+ life, 15%+ MS, and maybe some resists pretty quickly. You have 3 fossils increasing the odds to get at least T3 or better rolls with useful master mods for both prefixes and suffixes.

Trying to get T1-2 life, MS, resists, and spectres is obviously going to be harder, but at least you're only working with 4 prefixes and 1 main suffix. You have great odds to make something usable and a moderate chance for something amazing.

Compared to most other crafting, spectre boots are very straight forward and use cheap fossils.

If you plan to sink a lot of currency crafting, i83+ elder bone helmets or i86 elder helmets likely have the highest potential if you can get +3-4 minion levels with life or damage.
Does the -res from AG stack with -res from your own helmet?

About the boots, I'd definitely want 30-35% ms anyway, so increasing chancing for ms seems appealing. If I'd be content with less I could just craft it there.
And I mean the chances of getting a good ms roll in addition to a life roll that's better than the mastercraft seem low.
What else would you really want to mastercraft on it?

I don't believe helmet auras stack so you would just need one on your AG or yourself. I plan to give my current helm to my AG once I get a good minion level bone helmet.

Bound, Pristine, and Shuddering gives you high odds for life and MS prefixes so you would just roll until you're happy with them. You will need to roll multiple times, but once you're happy with your prefixes and spectre you just round out whatever hybrid, resist, or stat bonuses you need.

I'm a big fan of having an open suffix since you can craft any resists or stats your other gear is lacking. Great way to get Chaos resistance.

I haven't used that combo so not sure on odds, but since you basically only can roll 3 prefixes and rares needs to have at least 2 you should have a lot of chances to get two good rolls at once.

Finished this up with blind on hit.
None of the other options seemed useful and since my playstyle involves always charging into mobs, 20% blind chance seems somewhat useful.

Also crafted this but no luck 6 linking yet. With the white socket I can use better gems than slower projectiles for tough boss fights. After that I'll try and get a good elder bone helmet and maybe some minion damage rings. No other noticable improvements left.

I might add it to rich boys section

For functionality:
1. Suffix that costs 3 chaos to craft
2. Socketed spells will trigger of any used skill (attack or spell)
3. They trigger in their link order (e.g. Desecrate, Bone Offering, Ele Weakness)
4. 4 second cool down, but only triggers at most 1 spell per used skill

By socketing Desecrate before offering you always have corpses with a max leveled gem.

It's amazing to be able to auto-cast fully leveled offerings and curses. You can swap out your blasphemy for a purity, discipline or whatever for the same amount of reservation and sockets!

Curse triggers every 4 seconds so while it isn't always up on trash, if things are dying within seconds it isn't like it matters.

Been trying to think of what else may be useful to socket, but currently been using Desecrate, Offering, and a Curse. Ball Lightning or Arc are helpful to destroy objects.

Unlike CwDT there's no level restriction so Convocation seems like a waste instead of a curse, but easy to swap in for lower tier maps.

Highly recommend for even lazier mapping.

How well does cursing via trigger work? I enjoy auto convocation and don't have space for CWDT, but if I could free up some mana from my double blasphemy I could add aspect of the spider to my build for even more survivability.

I'm just afraid that using curse on trigger would slow my clear since I wouldn't reliably get proj weakness for piercing on the packs.

Can you explain the steps you did to craft the weapon and the armour please?
What about using summon phantasm on kill instead of controlled destruction for map clear speed ? Is it bad idea ?
Can ANYBODY help me answer on the question which gems I need to make quality 20% first?

Okay sure.

1. Bought a cheap rare chest with +1 spectre and preferably only 4 affixes overall(I waited for decent armor/es ones to show up but you can get other ones too)

2. Annulled the chest to get rid of the non spectre affixes

3. Repeat until you get a rare chest with only +1 spectre (25% chance with 4 affixes. I got it on my third attempt so it cost me 6 annulls and 3 chests ala 10-30 chaos for a total of around one ex).

4. Multimod it and put on your prefered crafts (life, %life, double resists). Still have one slot open on mine until I decide what res I want or if it's worth trying to get a veiled mod.

5. (optional) Divine until you get good/perfect rolls. I guess I was kind of lucky since I got 85 life + 8% life after only 6 divines.

6. (optional) Put on 28% quality with a hillok bench and 6 link with fusings or recipe and get atleast one white socket so you can swap GMP to controlled destruction for tough bosses to double spectre damage.

Overall cost was around 1 ex for the base +1 spectre chest, then 2 ex for crafts and another half ex for divines. Also around 3 ex worth of fusings but that can obviously vary depending on your 6link luck.
So ~6-7 ex for a perfect spectre chest that is probably worth 15-20 ex on poetrade.

This one is really straight forward.
1. Find a sceptre with only minion damage + random prefix.
If you don't find one of those, buy some with another affix and anull them until you are left with one that has minion damage and one prefix at most.

2. Multimod and put all the stuff you want on it. Trigger and minion castspeed are essential, but the last prefix is up to you (max mana, chance to bleed/poison/blind for example).

3. (optional) Divine until 15% cast speed + good minion damage roll.

Cost 30-100c depending on your luck with finding a good base. I bought a cheap 2 affix sceptre for like 30c so didn't have to bother with annulling. 2 ex for the crafting and you should get 15% castspeed and decent minion damage within a couple of divines so maybe 2.5 ex overall.

Hope I could help!

Works well too, but you also need faster projectiles to give the phantasms decent range.
I tried both and it didn't seem necessary to me since my spectres already melt multiple screens at once and you'd definitely have to gemswap for bosses if you go with a full phantasm setup and I'm too lazy for that.
