" Yeah I tended to use Lunaris majority and Araakali in fungal delves or Chayula etc. This league it may be a bit different with the inordinate amount of chaos damage going around. If there is + chain, or additional projectiles. Lunaris is probably the safest bet. | |

I fail to understand and see how this is tanky enough for this league in HC. Does anyone have a 90+ character geared and done stuff in red maps with this build (not skipping betrayal stuff)?

Been reading up on your build while it's slow today at work, I think I'm definitely going to start leveling a character when I get home. I enjoy BV mechanics and really need to dedicate to a single character that can do everything without 20ex investment, lol. I have a few ex laying around now from a lucky Doctor card drop, so I should be able to get most of the core items pretty easily.
Besides that, this build guide is extremely well written and thought out, and the feedback I'm seeing from people is good too. Took a peer at your characters for this league too, I'm excited to see what your guide is going to look like for it. | |

Just wanted to stop by again, was able to finish out Uber Elder with this build. Couple deaths, since i'm not used to the fight.
Made two changes for this: Swapped Herald with Purity of Ice Switched Ascendancy from Bowyer to Surgeon for the flask charges in between the door phases. Damage is great with the build so I went with more utility for the fight :) Last edited by aphlux on Dec 26, 2018, 3:29:14 PM

" Great job, I thinkt he herald of Ice swap is perfectly fine if your build can't tank a ball yet, but I think the ascendanyy swap is a poor choice. You lose quite a bit of damage and Flask charge generation, the Life recovery is decent and the remove bleed is ok too, your crit chance is low with controlled destruction so your flask charge generation may not be noticibly better, perhaps even worse. I think it's probably more down to learning how to manage flask's properly. | |

Is there an alternative to Arcane Surge in the main setup? I'm currently using it linked with Frost Bomb and Phase Run and already have the buff up most of the time.
