" How do the gems on the axe assist the build? Don't they need to be linked to something doing damage etc? The axe grants the molten burst skill. It's built into the weapon. Simply socketing appropriate gems into the weapon applies them to the skill. The axe itself is a pseudo skill gem. I make build guides for fun.
