{3.10} Speaker for the Dead | The Mass Minion Summoner | League Starter, Leveling Guide 💀
" That is pretty interesting. Does it stack with other sources of movement speed or are you pinned to 150%? Ok, answering my own question, does not stack but bypassed cyclones move speed reduction. There are so many options for this build its hard to settle on something :) | |
" Yeah, mapping wasn't fast enough for me but these fixed the issue. I had to juggle a couple of items around so I didn't lose life and res but these are just awesome. | |
Hi guys,
I have been following this build a long time. On the reddit there is a big discussion of the spectres. Every one is claiming that solar guards are better even without the added synergy with hatred->skitter bots(with bonechill ofc) -> ball lightning for ee application. I am not convinced about it but... A seed of hesitation has been sown. Ideas? | |
Hi Awesome Guide and been playing since day 1. One question what Anoint skill you put in your amulet for this build for endgame?

" EE lasts for 5s or until overwritten. As for your gear it should not be an issue at all; you essentially overall have better gear than I do (better claw, better helmet, more ES overall - though I got the shield for frenzy charge and the gloves for phys as extra cold), and are close in level; I did not have much issue with uber elder (just keep moving in circle and avoid shaper attacks). Obviously it will be even better with 21 gems and +2 support on claw and +3 in helm with minion damage and +1 spectre level in boots etc, but you should not have much issues besides the usual user fail in eating a full shaper ball and such (which happens to me usually a lot and happened to me on shaper itself before UE). I guess when I get an es on hit watcher's eye and a legion jewel i'll try again without the CWC spirit offering, as it might be well enough survivability with the split life/es and life on hit + es on hit (though in laggy situations, probably better with CWC ball lightning than using SRS like I was and plan to go back to just for the sheer amount of minions) | |
I've played this build last league and this one, which was my first time playing as a new player. I love it. Can anyone give any tips on crafting the helm, boots and claw? Which fossils and such. I'm starting to get a grasp on it but help is definitely welcome.

@Gorkk: If you move spirit offering & desecrate to cwc, what do you put in your cwdt setup/what do you replace cwdt with? (Sorry if you've already said; if so I missed it!)
----- " They're asking if we should take or anoint Golem Commander - 20% inc damage while a golem is summoned (irrelevant for us), 15% inc golem max life, 30% inc effect of golem buffs, and +1 max number of golems (which I don't believe requires a second gem; you can just use the one twice). The carrion golem buff doesn't stack, but the golem itself does a fair bit of damage, so if you're investing in a Hungry Loop setup for it, anointing Golem Commander makes a lot of sense. Especially since I don't think we really have any amazing anoint options. I don't think it makes sense to actually path to it on the passive tree, though; only as an anointment. | |
" Hi guys, Do i still need hit myself the enemies to proc elemental equilibrium ? I have a jewel which adds lightning damage to minions, but i don't think it procs for them also ? The Desecrate + Spirit Offering combo mentioned by @Gorkk sound tempting. Also if anybody does not mind, might i get some tips on what to upgrade first ? The only things i spent some currency on are the the jewelries and belt ? Lvl 86 now, planning to do uber lab. Things have gone smoothly, even with FAR from perfect gear. Also what annoint should i use on my amulet? Gear

@ everyone:
Once again, thank you to everyone lending help to fellow Speakers. I very much appreciate it. I've been focusing on playing and testing these past couple days, so it really helps out. Chain Support - Overlooked for Spectres since Stygian Revenants were nerfed. Patch 3.6 drastically lowered its damage penalty from 31% to 11%. Patch 3.8 improved its targeting. I've been using Chain on my Frost Sentinels, and really liking the results. It's less damage on the tin, but consider than missing = 100% less damage. Chain handles any pack shape or staggered spread of mobs, compared to Pierce which can leave stragglers between the gaps in projectiles or Phantasms which require a kill before spawning out in the field. By quickly taking out the weak but numerous trash mobs on first contact, due to Frost Sentinel range and Faster Projectiles, Zombies are then free to gang up around anything tanky instead of wasting time chasing after trash. The net result is a smoother clear that can keep up with me running forward. Full disclosure, I am using full cold conversion Triad Grips, Bonechill on Skitterbots, Elemental Army on Spectres, so overall my Frost Sentinels are able to make up the damage loss. But I do not have Unending Hunger, which should significantly improve my clear results. @ Gorkk:

" " That's a great idea! You can also reach 150% movement speed with Cyclone if you have: 30% boots 40+30% Quicksilver 20% Silver Flask --------------- = 220% * 0.7 Cyclone = 154% while using Cyclone You can further improve speed with 25% increased effect mod on Quicksilver flask (= +17.5% movespeed), 5% additional movement speed mod on boots and/or belt, ilvl86 35% movespeed boots, 10% boot enchantment, jewels, anointment, and a few other possibilities. @ Apsiu:

" " Our build doesn't rely on just Spectres for everything. By specializing Skeletons for bosses, and Zombies for tanky rares and such, we can go full trash clear for Spectres. Frost Sentinel range + chain is working really well for me right now. I still need to put it through its paces before officially recommending it, but everything will be revealed with good ol' fashioned testing! Last edited by Hercanic on Sep 16, 2019, 5:04:31 PM
