{3.10} Speaker for the Dead | The Mass Minion Summoner | League Starter, Leveling Guide 💀
Hey guys, I am new to this build and very much still learning POE. Could anyone take a look at my build, and give some hints on what to work on next. I think it is Grip of the Council and Discpline watchers eye.
Thanks, | |
" In my opinion, changing your gems for bossing is pointless: the skeletons can do enough damage by themselves. Lacking +3 on helmet, my (normal) skeletons can reach up to 1M DPS on any situation, and several million with Vaal Summon Skeletons (not even counting zombies). I don't think that specters can get that much DPS without investing a lot of money, and you can't really stack Unending Hunger buffs on a boss fight. " I would try to get 500-600+ ES on your Vaal Regalia. Then try to get either +1 to socketed gems and Maim OR two different support gems on your claw. This will be really easy with alteration spam, though getting all three together will be difficult. Then I would try to get +2/3 and Minion Damage on your helmet, 30% Movement Speed on boots, and (not sure since you didn't include it) both a Quicksilver Flask of Adrenaline and a normal Silver Flask. Then, if you can drop the belt (if you have overcapped your resistances and don't need that life for mapping), you can also buy a String of Servitude with the movement speed implicit, and move Holy Relic to your shield in the place of Flame Dash and use Smoke Mine on your ring, since when you activate it you get +30% Movement Speed for 5 seconds. For Grip of the Council, I would wait since the build might change to include Triad's Grip, and I don't think that the Watcher's Eye is a priority. Though if you can get that one, it certainly isn't bad. Edit: Just saw your profile, your top priority should be the Uber Lab, that +2 is HUGE damage boost that you shouldn't ignore. Also, if you are ok with using Bone Armour, you can also drop the "remove bleeding" on your flask and use something else, since Bone Armour makes both us and our minions immune to bleeding. Also, if you are interested in clearspeed, I would drop controlled destruction and summon phantasm for Spell Echo and Pierce. At least with Frost Sentinels, I can guarantee that they will make you clear a lot faster. Last edited by Levirael on Sep 14, 2019, 11:52:11 AM

" Budget options are Diamond Skin if you need resists, Decay wards for your minions. I run Juggernaut since its the cheapest health node you can pick up.
" I took Aligned Spirits as it was ultra cheap to add and gives 20% minion damage, considering I did not need resists or minion survivability at the time. If you have your endgame amulet and resources and use the golem, you can go for golem commander I think.
Had some luck in syndicate crafting benches and created these:
Talismans
not the best yet not bad either... sadly I can't use them myself because of missing dex for some skills otherwise. So I'll probably sell them, feel free to make an offer. :) |

What would be more DPS? A 5 link chest with +1 to Raise Spectre. Or a 6 link that has faster projectiles/Pierce support as the extra link, but only 4 Spectres.

A realization I came to recently: you can still run a 4 blue or combined blue-green triad grips while using hatred and cold spectres without losing out on any damage. If you use fire as your attack type, EE will give -50% to both enemy cold & lightning resist. You can also run elemental weakness as a curse without losing out on anything. This also lets us get the most out of a Vis Mortis chest.

Another useless guide. People need to start writing these from scratch, so that they are relevant to the current league/patch level.

" Might want to read, like, the first three lines of the first post.
@ vincentk:
" If 4 Spectres = 100%, then each Spectre represents 25% of the total (= 100% / 4). Therefore, going from from 4 to 5 Spectres is worth 25% more damage. L20/Q20 Pierce is ~21% more damage, plus all the advantages of piercing. L20/Q20 Faster Projectiles is ~11% more damage, plus significantly faster hits for smoother clear. |
