So can you not break fractured walls with this build? i die the second i throw a dynamite. I assume thats because im visible to enemies when i attack?

" When you perform any action you are more likely to draw aggro from nearby monsters; just throw the dynamite, run half a screen away while it's exploding and then come back, this should be enough to completely reset the monsters. "When you throw the dynamite your phase run is dispelled. To destroy the wall, use the stibnite flask to blind near enemies, throw the dynamite, activate phase run, then run. You need to move, to reset the aggro (monsters that saw you, to forget they did). Question: Anyone has a good way to mark the sections that were cleared? " That's probably one of the best ways. I just started from depth 1 and kept going down, when I'm done for the session I keep track of the last cleared level and the next time I start from the following node. Not sure if it's just me... but is there a way to change the Crawler's starting position in the mines to a spot that you would like to farm? (Since we can't clear any more content with 1hp)

" Hmm I'm not sure if I understand correctly your question.. but you can start (and therefore place the crawler) in any checkpoint you've already cleared, not in unexplored checkpoints. To progress further in the delves you need another "real" character which has the goal to unlock new checkpoints. You hit a checkpoint with the real character and then you start from there with this one, clearing the whole area around it (which was metioned being 5x5 blocks). " Sorry for not being too clear earlier. Here's my situation (I just re-tested my chars as well). Apparently all of my chars has different "starting" locations in the mines. My Darkrunner a.k.a char A, is currently at depth 74 (it was at about depth 140 or so until I was running some older locations to get to walls and it now starts at depth 74). Char B is at approx depth 250, just cleared a node earlier. Logs back into char A its still at depth 74, everytime I will need to scroll to the higher lvl mines or other locations with the preferred biomes. After completing a dead end run or if I die, respawn at portal, clicks at the mines map and its back to depth 74 (what I would want is for it to remain at the mine level that I was just running or for me to save a particular checkpoint for that runner to be at). Not sure if anyone else is facing this issue or I am missing something and hope I was able to explain it clearly. BTW, thanks for the guide. I've managed to craft some pretty neat stuff for myself! |
