[3.17] Hybrid's Molten Strike Jugg - Hold right click to TANK anything |MELT the Atlas|Divine Flesh|

"
i will try to include some tree progression in the POB once i have something solid.

Here's what I've worked on this morning, it's a no cluster, no unique leveling trees with some notes and stuff like that. It has my planned leveling trees and should get me to level 82. It will require a couple regret orbs at end game, but I was focused on trying to make the leveling process balanced and have nearby options for defense or damage at any point if I feel too slow or too squishy. Feel free to use whatever you want from this.

I believe that he posted the wrong POB and that HOA is actually supposed to be Tempest Shield.
What are people planning on building as their league starter so they can fund this one? I am considering just league starting with this build and just dealing with it because I enjoy Molten Strike so much, but not too sure. I believe I eventually want to transition to playing an int stacking wander this league, but we will see.
i really want to try this but you have to help me :)

what do you mean with not starter build can you give us an estimate cost of starter build ? like
budget 20 ex,
meduim 50 and
end game 100 or something else ?

replacing rage with EDWA is the same dps at 50 rage, but you have to build up for it.
also including Berserk felt like just inflating the dps.

I wasn't suggesting replacing EDWA with Rage, so I applogise for not being clear. I agree with you *100%* this is *not* a good idea. To clarify, for Rage generation I think a Bloodscent notable from a large cluster jewel is the primary generation mode, which can optionally be accelerated by supporting a movement skill with Rage. With the change that you pointed out to Awakened EDWA, I think we all want to have this so we can do all maps, especially unidentified rare maps to get the bonus map qaunity without having to worry about dying from an unseen reflect mod.

Your point about Berserk infalting the PoB DPS number is a good one. I think any attack build guide that uses Berserk should have it not enabled to avoid making it look like the build is better than it is from a DPS standpoint.

hydroshpere is a very RNG.
its effectiveness depends on when it activates, where and positions of you and the boss.
vs Sirus it feels useless because he teleports non stop, and this is where you need it the most.
just personally dont like it.

I agree, HS does have an RNG element. I have been using it for a while now and have found that supported with a low level CWDT, even verus Sirus, its useful. As you show in you videos on page 1 there are parts of the Sirus fight that this build can easily tank and getting the extra DPS in these parts, which can be brief, is just my prefence. Again, I don't disagree with anything you said.

we dont really need the accuracy implicit on the sword and this is the most efficient way to get fortify.
the mastery grants you fortify on hit, but also costs point AND -3 to max fortification, which is bad.

The loss of the 3% mitigation and the extra point are definitely the downsides of going way. I think it might be okay, but yeah, there is a cost to be paid, which is bad.

as for range, we really dont have any points to spare, and im not sure about how good it is.
will have to test when the patch is online.

Yes, it could be good or crap, I really don't know. I'll try it and spec out if it doesn't feel great. It might be that with mob density having the extra range is of no value because there will typically be enough targets in close enough proximity, or no additonal targets in long range (ie a ST boss fight). We shall seen.

Again thanks for the feedback and keeping this guide updated! Have fun in Scourge! I think I'll linger in Standard, for personal reasons.

POB isnt updated yet and currently Tempest shield isnt an aura, so i needed a 25% aura that doesnt affect anything in the build.

Bloodscent is not a good source of rage if its the only one.
only getting 1 rage per second, unlike Rage gem that grants rage every 0.3 sec.
talking from experience of a cyclone build i made once.
this would also make you not wanting to use Berserk because losing all of your rage without a good way to recover it feels bad and lowers your dps to the ground.

i made another iteration.
Glancing Blows wasnt worth it with the setup i had.
56/74% isnt balanced and without recover on block isnt very useful.

so i tinkered with the POB a little more and got to a much more balanced 72/70% block with recovery on block shield.
this should feel better.

i want to point out again, the build needs a lot of investment to be that strong.
at this point its a niche build "showcase" rather than a guide, and you probably playing it just because you like molten strike.

wait wtf?

Updated - The Brass Dome: Unique has been redesigned to more properly embrace its identity of a high Armour Body Armour, while not providing as extreme of a difference compared to a Rare Body Armour with top tier Armour modifiers. It no longer has "10% reduced Movement Speed", "50% increased Shock Duration on you", or "30% reduced chance to Block Attack and Spell Damage". Instead, it now has 350-400% increased Armour (previously 600-650%), “+1-5% to all maximum Elemental Resistances”, and "Strength provides no bonus to Maximum Life".

that could be really interesting.
dropping kaoms and divine flesh and ending up with 85% all ele res.
no extra damage from crits is very good too.

also allows more gems to be used.
