[3.17] Hybrid's Molten Strike Jugg - Hold right click to TANK anything |MELT the Atlas|Divine Flesh|

Let's say I want a helmet with elevated immolate support, 30 % more elemental damage, 3% flat crite chance and ANY concentrated effect.

I am not really big on crafting. I know these helmets are a thing with cold BV builds. How would I go at it? And what would be the estimate costs of such a helmet. I really only care about the elevated immolate modifier, since that would boost my dps by 25%.

Would really appreciate some input!

My best guess is essence of horror spam to get a base with 2 removable suffixes. Aug fire till 20 immolate and aug any crit mod (if there is no other influenced mod on the item). Maven orb and hope for 25 immolate. Otherwise repeat. When you get 25 immolate augment crit (and add/remove for crit3 if needed). And then spam keep suffixes to get concentrated effect.

Is there a better way?

Can anyone estimate the costs?

was wondering myself as i wanted to craft myself one too.

im not a crafter, but it should be something like this:
essence spam until you get lvl20 immolate, this should be much cheaper than add\remove fire with harvest.

then you clean the helmet so you only got the essence mod and immolate since the essence mod doesnt have a tag that works with harvest.

now you augment influenced mod with harvest and maven orb the helmet.
if you elevated the other mod, start over, if you hit lvl25 immolate you can move to the next step.

at this point you only have the essence mod and elevated immolate.
you augment crit and rem\add until you hit T1, then your suffixes are done.

conc effect doesnt have a tag and there are too many influenced mods to try and aug the mod with harvest.
so i think that the best thing to do is metacraft it.

now this is where you need to decide if you just want conc effect at any tier or to elevate it too. (although the 2nd option might be better anyway, depends on what you hit on the 2nd slam)

if you just want any conc effect- slam exalted orb on the helmet and if it doesnt hit conc effect, craft suffixes cannot be changed and try again until you hit it.
once you do, you are pretty much done and only need to harvest craft life till T1.

if you want to elevate conc effect too- you do basically the same just instead of slamming once, you slam twice and clean if failed.
once you hit lcl20 conc effect, check the other mod.

if its influenced, move to the next step.
if its a regular mod, craft suffixes cannot be change and harvest non influence to influence, this should swap it so both of the prefixes are influenced.

at this point you want your prefixes to be lvl 20 conc effect, random influenced mod and the bench crafted mod suffixes cannot be changed.
this is when you maven orb again.

if you hit lvl25 conc effect- GG, the hard part is over.
if not, clean prefixes and try again.

as for estimated cost- totally RNG.
the first part of essence spam shouldnt be expensive, the real "money pit" is the maven's orbs.
first when you try to hit immolate, which is 50/50, but you can also fail 3-4 times.
the second is with the conc effect mod in case you decided to go with a GG helmet.
this is where you have to invest the most as metacrafting the conc effect is expensive and if you fail the maven orb to elevate it you need to do it again.

according to craftofexile it will take you ~60 tries on average to hit lvl20 conc effect by slamming the helmet.
add the 2ex bench craft every time you failed and you end up with a cost of 120ex on average just to get conc effect.

its not accurate since we slam twice, which means that the 2nd slam have higher chance to hit conc effect, but you cant really calculate it since the chance varies depending on what mod you hit.
the chance to hit any conc effect on your first slam is ~4.85%, the chnace to hit lvl 20 conc effect is ~1.62%.
so for example, if you hit life on your first slam, the chance to hit lvl20 conc is ~2%.
but if you hit a mod like "add chaos damage to spells" your chance to hit lvl20 conc only goes up to ~1.64%.

now imagine wanting elevated crit mod too T_T

I disagree at 2 points. Essence spamming for the 20 immolate does not only have to hit that, but also a 3rd suffix that can be removed (which is not easy at all).

On the other hand, if you just go for 2 removable suffixes, you get rid of them, craft fire resist and have a 16% chance to hit 20 immolate with aug fire harvest craft.

Once you have succesfully crafted 25 immolate and the crit mod you have your 3 suffixes set in stone. Now you could just spam reforge prefixes in harvest. Those crafts are fairly cheap and I average around 15 tries.

Let's say getting 20 immolate my way, that is 6* aug fire and 5* remove fire, that should be around 11 ex. Aug crit if necessary and Maven orb, that is 20 Ex. Since we might have to do it twice, we are at 40 ex.

The crit mod shouldn't cost more than 5 Ex on average.

And from thereon it is just spamming the reforge prefixes.

So my estimate was closer to 60 Ex.

This is importanz because that is about what I have right now and I am torn between going all in for the helmet (which I only consider because I have adapted your helmet Idea for my own approach in a slayer crit version and the damage is already ridiculous) or putting it into a 3rd build.

At least I got a base to influence for starters:

Damn, I'm so much not into crafting, I hate that and there are so many things in the game ><'
But my current helmet is just 20/20 without the 30% more ele.. And it really feels like I'll need that huge multiplicative buff to push further !

Happy to be able to fly through T16 now though. I just avoid multiple dangerous mods and life/resists/elemental equilibrium.. Road to lvl98 :)

Btw compared to the tree screen some pages before, don't you think the 40% increased life recovery from life leech from the point right below Gladiator's Perseverance is mandatory ?
The other path gives good dmg too, but this one really improves regen.

"increased Maximum total Recovery per second from Life leech" = good.
"increased total Recovery per second from Life Leech" = pretty useless.
heh.. indeed ^^'
So many terms + not native english speaker.. I did read those terms explanations but didn't see the difference here.
Welp, that means I have a point to put somewhere else !

@hybrid

took me around 15 Ex to hit 20 immolate, so my estimate seems accurate. Unfortunately the maven elevated crit then. :(

Hit 20 immolate on 2nd attempt in the second round. Maven Orb chose wrong again though, now I am out of currency for the time being.

Your build says this:

"Dual Wielding: (not worth it with the new setup)"

Can you explain this a little? Should we be using a shield ot 2H weapon?

without a shield you lose a lot of defense, and you need the max res for divine flesh.
