[3.17] Hybrid's Molten Strike Jugg - Hold right click to TANK anything |MELT the Atlas|Divine Flesh|
" this isnt a "place any gem here" kind of build. its all tailored around molten strike.
this still working in the new league want to make it my starter?
| |
Here are the changes i could find to the skills.
Spoiler
Whirling Blades Can now affect up to 40 targets per attack (from 20). Anger Now causes you and nearby allies to deal 16 to 23 additional Fire Damage with Attacks at gem level 1 (from 12 to 21) and 109 to 155 additional Fire Damage with Attacks at gem level 20 (from 83 to 138). Now causes you and nearby allies to deal 15 to 21 additional Fire Damage with Spells at gem level 1 (from 10 to 16) and 99 to 140 additional Fire Damage with Spells at gem level 20 (from 69 to 110). Blood Rage Mana Cost at gem level 1 is now 7 (was 17). Mana Cost at gem level 20 is now 16 (was 21). Improved many cases of damage mitigation being applied before an incoming hit was registered, which could cause a character that would otherwise take reduced damage (or no damage at all) to take more damage than expected. In other words, when a monster attacks and you use Immortal Call after attack is used but before it lands, you will now correctly mitigate this damage. This was previously not the case.
" these are really minor things. with WB you cant really hit 40 mobs anyway. anger is buffed a tiny bit. BR mana cost was never an issue. the the IC thing isnt relevant for us since we are not self casting it. they are talking about incidents like shaper's slam. when he will start his teleport and you cast IC but it wont work. we use IC with CWDT so you have to take the damage before the IC procs anyway. " ofcourse
" Hi, Hybrid. I plan to use this as my starter in the coming league and I'm learning the build from your detailed guide gradually. According to my understanding, the old passive tree (used in 3.5) should be still okay. Is that correct? Or, is it possible that you may make an updated PoB link for 3.6, please? Also, if you don't mind, as a starter build in the new league, any suggestions for leveling, please? What I'm curious are like what skill you will use for earlier ACTs, when you will move from leveling skills to MS, and what gears you are going to invest first. Thank you. Edit: My bad. Just checked the section "Patch Updates", you have mentioned about the passive tree. Please ignore the first question. Last edited by TxE4GL3k on Mar 6, 2019, 10:47:27 AM

hey hybrid, your guide says that you use claws till you get your hand on the grelwood, what stats do I have to look for on a rare claw?

theres too many words in the patch notes i kind of lost track, but it looks like nothing really got the nerf hammer so this build should still be more or less the same
except for tombfist :( i dont understand their reasoning behind neutering that. im just playing in standard and i already got a pretty decent one so im good, but that might suck for people starting fresh in league. isnt there any other viable pair of gloves similar to tombfist? i guess u could always try to get one corrupted with 10% AS implicit but that would cost a bit. or maybe try to make up that missing attack speed elsewhere? i dont know. i dont know how badly it would hurt the build. and im also wondering about the new skill tree. i couldnt really find it but i must have not looked hard enough. im wondering how much different it will be in 3.6 if at all? and if so will you update the guide for 3.6? i swapped my silver flask with a cinderswallow urn
damn looks like i cant swap sulphur flash with bottled faith or id have no way to remove bleeding :( i guess ill just weigh out which one would benefit me more. i do like the cinderswallow urn with the 3% life regen enchant on it, but this build is rather tanky as it is and i dunno how much greater its actually helping me sustain, but was definately a better upgrade over the silver flask though. but that bottled faith does look sexy i dont think i could go wrong there either. if its only available in league i guess i would have to start a new char just to get one and bring it in to standard. basically it just comes down to offense vs defense as to which one ill want to go with. im corrupted blood immune from my wildfire, but i still get hit with bleed from time to time, though most of the time i dont even need to flask. i guess ill have to figure it out. though even rolling 4 unique flasks id have to pick from bleed or curse. i dunno how much of an issue that would be for curses at higher level maps now with over 90% resistance supposedly being pointless now, but ive never worried about curses before and i was overcapped at 120%+ before any endurance charges or flasks so it was hard for me to get hit with curses, but i dont know how much of an issue it might be now. but im loving your build man. playing in standard, just hit 98 the other day and i dont plan on stopping.
