Currently working on rerolling into this build.
Just have one question.

What are the downsides / upsides to using x2 Grelwood instead of x1 Grelwood and a shield?

More damage with dual wield, more life, block and armour with a shield. I found it was easier to level DW then respec into shield for big boy maps, as this puts you above 8k life easily.
Killed shaper for the first time ever as level 86 with this gear.
Only have 7005 so im lacking quite a bit.. Didn't do much damage to shaper but my gear isn't super optimized.. :P

imo you gain so much more damage with Dual Wield Grel it's really satisfying. Althought you will probably lose around ~500hp and a little bit of armor. It's worth it for me personally DW feels better. Maybe Shield for hard end game boss like Uber Elder
Bought these 2 and replaced thiefs torment :D

What's the gem quality priority? Which to +20% first?
I really love this build but i can't kill uber elder with my current gear. Can someone please help out with what to upgrade next? I'm in a dilemma whether to switch to 2 Grelwoods or stick with the shield. I just do damage so slowly and eventually die cause of mistakes. I'm not great technically but i manage to get through 50% of the fight right now.

I have about 10ex to spend right now. Any help would be great!!
What should be my main focus from here?
According to POB i got 22k damage per magma ball which is half of the authors POB, so what should be my number one item to focus on upgrading?

@Redauric , wtf is your gear?? i quit...

Haha, yeah. A lot of hardwork has gone into gearing that bad boy up. Will be a trophy character sitting in Standard when the league ends.

Speaking of which...... I am trying to craft the ultimate Elder Opal ring for this build so let's see if I succeed before the league ends!

How good is the mod "Ancestral protector grants additional 18% attack speed while active"?? I rolled it last night and my Elder helm is pretty juicy because it has 70 life and 50% resistances. I wanna get the MS enchant, but IDK if I wanna reroll this if it is a good and worthwhile enchant. I also have the increased attack speed and cast speed enchantment on my boots, so perhaps bonus AS is not as pertinent? Also, how is commandment inferno for a gloves enchant? It seems okay but maybe there is better I should be working towards. Thanks for the great guide, really enjoying this build as its my first time playing/char.

It is definitely a nice buff but what you'll find is that the ancestral protector doesn't survive with tougher content so you'll find yourself cursing a bit for having to cast AP very regularly if you choose to rely on AP too much. I think having AP as an enchant will "tip" the buyer into choosing your helm over others if they are similarly priced, but it wouldn't necessary add a "premium" to the asking price if you know what I mean.
Been digging this build! Does anyone think a lower level CwDT with immortal call like we typically see would be any better? I get its kinda the only extra slot for lightning golem so you'd have to lose out on a bit of minion health, just not sure if the more frequent proc on immortal call would be worth it? I'm maxed out on all but am gonna buy lvl 1s to try it out. Just wanted to get some opinions or if anyone has gone this route?
