Hey, thanks for the feedback on my thoughts. I thought about another thing: How about dropping Herald of Ash for Blasphemy - Poachers Mark and replacing One LGOH ring for the taiming? So we pretty much replace HOA for The Taiming, i think this could be a huge damage boost, while keeping the LGOH even. Especially when we use the watcher's eye (more damage=more leech). There are drawbacks like: more mana is reserved, using enlighten this should be still fine. And we get weakened by hexproof (still got 20LGOH then). Do you think the damage increase is worth it then?
I ran CWDT-Golem-IC-Tempest Shield for a bit. Seemed fine.
I now dropped Tempest Shield swapped gems on the gear, and run Arctic Armour-Anger-Herald of Ash-Enlighten.
Not sure of the difference between the Tempest Shield setup and the Arctic Armour setup. Only thing I see now is I only have enough mana for one swing of Molten Strike. There are little moments when I don't have the mana for MS and just do a normal attack. As long as I'm hitting something I'm fine though.
So I've followed this build since the very end of Delve league and carried on with Betrayal and I want to share with you guys my pretty much min-maxed character.
For the min-maxers out there, I find that the gain % of physical damage as extra fire damage really powerful for scaling our dps. I have also changed from using shield to dual wielding grelwoods. I only recommend this switch when you've maxed out life in all your gear. You're only loosing about 500-800HP depending on your gear but gain substantially more dps. You also get similar phy dmg reduction dual wielding Grels when compared to the shield because of the "iron reflexes" of your second grel. I am currently lvl 97 and sitting on 9800 HP dual wielding grels. Plan to reach lvl100 in the next few days and investigate what is the best use of the last 3 skill points. Can definitely break the 10k hp even with dual wielding grelwoods.
Killed all the end game bosses (first time achievement for me), and I plan to keep delving as deep as possible. Currently at about 300 depth and still feels very easy so I hope I can make it close to 1000. Big shout out to hybridboy for this awesome build to get me started. I've recommended a few of my guild mates to follow this build. Once you reach end game, feel free to experiment and see if you're a shield guy or a dual wield guy.
Its probably because I'm a shit player, but got to Shaper tonight. Once he got to 50% I wiped. So failed that. I did the four T16 maps no real issues. The Phoenix guy I needed Purity of Fire Aura and ran Arctic Armour.
I mean, resists are maxed. 8442 HP. I'm level 91, and will NOT see any higher than that. It'd be about a week's playtime to get to 92, and one death sets me back a couple days.
I got stupid and tried crafting a Murderous Eye Jewel. Slammed 100c through it. Kind of addicting, huh? Got nothing in the end.
So, lousy night tonight. I've got a single Ex to my name now. I'll have to spend a week or so bouncing back. Maybe buy better gear?

you took it to the next level :)
so nice to see you guys min\maxing the build, it only happens if you REALLY like it ^^
as for the remaining skill points, i plan on taking the endurance charge node on the left, right next to the small node that gives 0.2% life regen per E.C.
i have invested into life recovery rate so i want to get high regen.
right now fully buffed i get like 2.6k regen, without taking into account the pantheon.
Killed Uber Elder for the first time, thanks again for the build! it was really fun and noob friendly. My stuff:

If you didn't already know, Atziri's flask does nothing if u have Avatar of fire (gained by equipping Xoph's blood). Can only deal Fire damage, so the chaos damage is actually not dealt at all.

If my watchers eye jewel had leech on hit for both anger and vitality is it worth dropping Herald of Ash for the extra leech? Would I lose a ton of damage?

Didn't know that, I will replace the flask then, thank you.

How did you get or craft on your helmet both 30% elemental damage and -9 resist?
