[3.13] TOXIC RAIN + HERALD OF AGONY Pathfinder Build (6-8K life) (UBER ELDER done!) +VIDEO GUIDE!

Definitely viable. Quill Rain never was the strongest bow to get in the end game. Any +3 high AS elder with vicious projectiles would beat a QR easy. Furthermore, maybe it is even stronger with the changes to the passive tree regarding chaos damage and the new nodes (if they are a thing for this build, not sure if we can get any of those). It just lost quite some budget friendliness.

Only question left is, if this build is still viable as a League Starter? Crafting some really nice bows later in the game is quite possible but kinda expensive. I am not sure how far we can get with this build as a starter anymore. Since 6l QR was quite the thing. Still possible to do lowmaps maybe, but not sure if this is a good build anymore to build your endgame on (especially if you want to farm higher maps fast)

It would be still good, because it was just POG for no investment. Now just not POG

Would it make sense to get high PDmg/AtkSpd bow and concentrate more on scaling the third stage of TR? I mean pod explosions and poison damage? Without Quill Rain we can't get the same amount of pods laying on the ground ticking chaos DoT at the same time, so maybe chaos DoT is just not worth scaling anymore?

It's worth stacking, just as it was before with Lioneye's Glare.
The reason for Lioneyes Glare: it allows you to leech decently, allows you to drop Thief's Torment, as well as once you get enough attack speed on the tree - it does not feel "that slow". I played a lot 320+ depths with the Glare and it was really smooth. Even attempted Uber Elder and it was OK

I keep make tries and i reach this result.

Each pods do 25k chaos dmg each
I dropped Grace for Haste
Empower 4 do better than other gems.
Update: trying to stack more attack speed so:

Out Cherrubim and In a normal 6link armor

Added a ring with 7% attack speed and 2 abyssal with attack speed

Damage dropped from 25k dmg each pods to 23k dmg.

Make a quick count i think that you can use quill rain for endgame but you must have

1) Corruption with addictional arrow on quill rain and quiver
2)Lvl 21 Toxic Rain with empower 3+ and Skin of the Loyal/Lord or any other armor with +1 socketed gems

Hello everyone, I want to make an innovative vision of this build!

Since we are using Herald of Agony and a sub-class of the passfinder, with the actualization of the poison Master Toxicist, it is more expedient to maximize the effect of the poison! What will correspond to the canonical idea of GGG.

Weapons

We use Reach of the Council, becouse it give us many projectiles and hide physical damage!
Maloney's Nightfall give us Smoke Cloud with with our flasks.

Jewelers

Maligaro's Cruelty meets the concept of a poisonous archer, and is part of the set with our quiver!

Armor

Cospri's Will give us Curses can apply to Hexproof Enemies!!! And give hide chance to poison! Which also corresponds to the idea of a poisonous archer, this scolding must have for a poisonous pathfinder, thet means - lets realize the potential of curses on it!
We need enchanted on helmet - +1 arrow to Toxic Raine!

Flsks

Coralito's Signature created specifically for the subclass of poisonous putfinder! So we need to comply with the idea and increase the poison damage through the increase in our crit multi!!!
If we say about poson + crit multi we need take Muster Surgion on a subclass tree! So we must we must maximize the regen of life from our breaths, for this we take Blood of the Karui, becouse we dont have any other way for good life regen!

So we use 3 curses!

Asasins mark, significantly increases the damage from our poison, along with the flax Coralito's Signature, also this curse regenerates our health and mana on kill, and increase the damage from Agony Crawler!!!

Poacher Mark, overcomes the passfinder's canon, and not only regenerates our flasks 100% faster, but also gives us a frenzy charge along with health and mana regen per hit!!!! Which also corresponds to the canon of our Pasfinder and the idea of GGG!

Thus, the potential of the poison is realized harmoniously, and follows the bonus from our class completely.

I switched out of Quill Rain in last 4-5 days in delve, getting myself +3 normal bow with damage over time bonus. Was easier to keep my mana up this way, and I could switch to 2 rare rings which increased my life and survivability by tons.

That was before patch notes, so now they come out, and I don't feel bad for Quill Rain as it doesn't matter that much.

And I tried to change some Tree Paths in the updated PoB to reach the new chaos over time nodes. Overall, they are not bad, but seems nothing phenomenal. Any other passives we have around the tree can replace them (The Method to Madness wheel gave me almost same damage difference as the chaos nodes in shadow starting area, with the shadow starting area being more accessible as we are there already by "Coordination") .. so, you see.

I'm still debating whether to start Betrayal league with Tpxic Rain again, or try using the same theory with one of the new skills (Shattering Steel/Lancing Steel) .. probably the latter, as it will be untested and have more room to exploration.
