Taunt won't work because phantasms use a 'spell' and taunt is for 'attack'.

Have a look at the section in the second post about pushing deep delve. The ideas there are still applicable to any level of delve. Also watch the video demonstration.

*You can ignore the fortify snap shot part.

The old tree is now called the DPS build. It's perfectly fine, but lacks any form of defence other than kill before you are killed. I was able to get to 650 depth in the mine with it. The phase/evasion build just adds in some defensive layers by giving up some DPS.

If you are not having any problems with dying, keep with the DPS build!

It's counter-intuitive because you need to search for "#% increased mana reserved".

Bane does chaos damage, so it will not proc Elemental Equilibrium. You will need to find a way to add lightning or cold damage to your spells.

Bane also does dot damage, so if you can get it to do cold/lightning damage, it only applies EE once whereas storm brand will hit 4 targets every 0.3-0.5s for 5s total.

What do you think about defensive version, when you drop Aegis (massive DPS drop), so you can rewrite the tree to get slightly more HP, but with "reduce mana reserved" on shield you now only need 2 nodes to squeeze 3rd aura in now (with both unique jewels corrupted to 1% reserve). Plus high evasion/more dodge could help with delving a lot?

I'm only at 250 now, with no problems/deaths so far, but i know from the last league these blue exploding things on the ground are super deadly deep down...

I'm currently leveling with this and Spell echo is causing two spectres to be raised at once. This puts a lot of RNG on the second one being a melee or the ranged one I want. How can I fix this?

Just remove the spell echo gem when summoning spectres.

So how do they get the benefits of the spell echo if you are unequipping it when casting the spell?
