It would, but I think there is 'enough' DPS to do more content easily, so the best thing to do is focus on survivability. This is why I don't even bother with offensive curses. Something like Temp chains + Enhance will slow monsters by 50%+ which will keep you very safe.

It could be because I suggest Plaguebringer (PoH) instead of Bone Barrier (W&S). The 20% more minion life actually adds a large amount of hp.

Try spec'ing back into Bone Barrier and see if that changes things.

I'm actually considering a tweaked gem set up. You cast test it if you want:

helmet: AG + Zombies + Feeding Frenzy + Elemental Army.
6L: Spectre + echo + min damage + ele focus + death mark + inc aoe/conc effect.

Can I request a gear/what to buy next check? I'm trying to do the PoH build, and I have PoH, Devouring Diadem, and Unending Hunger. I have 4.7k life, 2k mana, and capped resists. I'm thinking the next thing to buy would be Solstice Vigil, but I'd like to confirm with someone who knows more than I do. I have about two ex right now but am not averse to saving it if I need something more expensive. Thanks!

To Be honest I would just sell that wand. Ideal u want Hybrid. Mana / minion damage. you can get more damage for minions with hybrid.

I think your first goal is The elder
Temp chain is not good at bossing, its gives more benefit when delving
So you should focus on more normal stuff first
1 You don't have offering and golem get some first (recommend Flesh offering)
2 Get +1 spectre level boots
3 Get rare Onyx amulet with Hp+resist
4 Get Upset ring with 70+HP and 40+resist
5 Craft or Buy abyssal jewel with HP+minion Stats
6 Buy Lv3 empower (Your zombie will die often) and link Minion life
7 Throw away phase run and haste、Just take Mistress of Sacrifice(So you can ignore dex)

Death mark is final link you should link Controlled Destruction
Don't use vortex if your build is PoH
And somehow if you could manage 5+Ex,then get +1 Spectre body before buy Solstice Vigil

Noob question. In Act6 leveling guide i dont see any raise zombie gem etc. + I see blade vortex gem for some reason.

Wanted to follow guide, but feels like its outdated some parts? or little bit messed? because in lvling i see - acts 8-10 no changes. but in Gem Link section there is totally different setup and some gems that doesnt exist in lvling guide...

Should i follow leveling guide? or should i just copy as close as possible Gem Links section?

PS: Currently at 52lvl - 6 Act
