For this build, I suggest linking Wrath to Generosity. This will increase its effects for your minions and not apply any effects on you. So no negative effect for EE. You're safe.

Holy Flame Totem is suggested for early levelling because it gives a 6% heal as well as triggering EE. You can actually keep using it forever if you like, but you will need swap Dread Banner for level 1 Clarity because we need one aura affecting the necro to proc Commander of Darkness.

Thanks for response. One more thing, we don't need to worry about Slave Drivers dying often in 3.8? I remember reading people said they were fragile in 3.7. That's the only thing that worries me.

May be you still dont realize but Kay is not good at writing for newbie. I suggest that Angry_roleplaying is a better for newbie.
Hardcore build = need time to check and test. Also Necro spec is more than additional arrow or aoe range.
