For curse I use enfeeble, since I don't need more deeps or sometimes blasphemy+temp chains using a solstice vigil (feels amazing with enhance, would be even better with empower, but who has the gem slots, am I right?).


This "build" (actually all necro builds, no just this one) is fairly customizable to suit your needs and play style. You can go full deeps aka Simple Jack, extremely tanky or a happy middle.


Edit: One more thing, try using minion dmg, splash + multi strike for map clear on your dagger (using hatred aure) beter dmg, feels better for clearing. you can swap splash for dmg full life (a little bit more dmg than melee phys dmg) for bosses and use whitering touch for uber elder or ""long"" fights, since it takes like 8 secs to ramp up the poisons to get better dmg than the set up I mentioned, and most bosses die before that.
On a separate note: I know the trigger craft is an amazing QoL, but if you can live without it, using only the dagger is way better (20 spiders hammering the boss makes up for the missing deeps on the spectres and then some!).
Og shit, one more thing (lol, I promise this is the last one) use a ghstly with minion blind on hit and drop the bling gem (the spiders hit so fast that everyone will be blinded, plus, blood and sand ;). If you don't have aspect of the spider, grab a "minions hinder with spells" mod (only if you have spell caster spectres) and a taunt one wouldn't hurt (haven't tried it yet).


Spiders seem interesting (mostly due to me being too lazy to cast my skeles and having a lot of pets seems fun), how many do you get versus stuff like Shaper/Elder? What spectre do you use generally and why Malovelence/Hatred (assuming ur SG) over something that would benefit both spectres and spiders (i.e Vaal Haste)?

If using a ranged spectre, what's the best way to get the first spiders?

I started initially a pure skeleton build but with these spectres I wanna use both
Sword gives + 1 spectre which allows me to use armor with 1lvl maim support for spectres or skeletons.

Also don't forget sword gives 100% movement speed for these super slow spectres

Yeah, i'm using SGs, i dont killed UE yet ( But i killed it with less gear and SGs in flashback on SSF so should be easy ) i farm shaper atm, i killed several delve bosses at depth 300 ( no Aul yet ) very comfortable, been in 4 army and 5 army battles too, tho for 5 army or 4 you need specialized char preferably with HeadHunter tbh.

I've only just started using vaal + spiders because of the fire-eater nerf, so the build is quite clearly unoptimised; essentially just a gem swap at this point. I'll look at adding in your suggestions!

By the way, I've been using Ele prof (with hatred) for delve and it's been doing pretty well so far.

For those who are planning to switch to "Enhanced Vaal" spectres.

Here is another option:
Buy weapon that has following gems support: Maim + Added Fire Damage + Faster Attacks
(6 link for a very cheap price - starting from 2x)
Link to poe trade
Place Multistrike + Raise Spectre + Minion Damage in it

In my case I have even a 7 link for a price of 40x, which is very affordable

Use following on fat bosses:
Spell Totem + Summon Skeleton + Minion Speed + Minion Damage (I placed it in Vis Mortis chest)
You can add other gems as well, in case if you have 5 link or 6 link in chest

Raise following melee spectres: "Vendigo Spectres"
(raise them on The Ascent location Act 4, then re-summon them on high level tier map)
They are using Flicker Strike, they are fast, fierce and deadly
Usually one blow - one kill

This is probably strongest melee bosses in POE ATM
Tree you can leave unchanged or you can go into chaos immune necromant

For link combinations, I come up with the question, why would you not include "fire penetration support"?

As far as I know, Including penetration support would increase damage much more than elemental focus, because elemental focus and etc increase damage in one factor in the formula, but penetration does it in other factor.

So I'm just about to include it taking one gem out, but no one around me is using penetration. and I've searched on the internet, the topic of penetration gem with necromancer appears very long ago, like 2 years.

So I'm pretty not sure to use it all my own, I would ask you and get your opinion first.

Why would you not include penetration support gem in the spectre link?
Do you recommend it? or not?

Another question for AG.
I'm just about to quit using stone golem and start using AG. your build instructs me to have 3 uniques, and 2 rares. uniqe parts have fixed option values, so I don't really need to care what to buy, I just need to care what price I buy them.
but the two part, boots and helmet - I really didn't read your build in original texts, but in translated texts - it only says I need any helmet and a boots of 35% lightning and fire resistance, and need potent alchemic resonator.
Ok, I can get the exact fossils and resonators, but what options do I have to care?

2. one anatomical knowledge
3. ghastly eye jewels for all the rest sockets.

But in my last question, you answered that :
You can also get a Dodge when affected by Haste Watcher's Eye for another 8% spell dodge, taking you to 56%.

So my question is, does your build instructs me to have one Haste Watcher's eye in my passive tree?
The search result only shows Watcher's eye, no Haste Watcher's eye.
