Is the pure spectres build with Devouring Diadem a stepping stone to a bone helm build? Seems to be only a small portion (22%) of necros (some filters on) use it.

Builds appear fairly similar, but a few distinct changes. I am struggling to get accurate DPS numbers in POB so it is hard for me to compare myself.

Pretty sure PoB doesn't account for the Shotgun effect from SO's. I'm actually not even sure how you calculate it or if there is a way. I remember reading the awakened vicious projectiles was a huge upgrade but when plugging it into PoB it looks so minimal, but maybe this is also due to how bad some awk gems got nerfed. If anyone has some insight on how to correctly calculate SO spectre dmg in PoB hmu.

I was having similar doubts
The awakening gems appear to be a very slight (say 1%）upgrade to the lv 20 version of the original. The dps increase reflected in PoB is just negligible.

I understand when minmaxing the building, 1％ counts. But I doubt if it is worth spending EXs on this upgrade.

I have so many doubts with this build. The dmg it's not the best and the SO die very quickly. I don't know if is worth spend more exalteds than already put on it.

You can get a rather big boost by just turning in your level 20 gems with gemcutter's prisms to 20% quality gems!

Hi there, i'm new to spectre but have been doing quite well. I feel that i'm quite invested in this build but my spectre still dies to A8 sirus (i've failed to kill him) and my damage seem to be lacking as well. Do you have any idea on how to increase my DPS?

Also in the POB, i can't seem to be able to properly determine my DPS. Do i take the minion total damage and multiply by the total spectres i'm able to raise?

Hello spectre crowd! Can someone recommend me a guide for this build but aura stacker? the one that is with +1 shaper bow, Victario Influence and Vivinsect rings. There are many of them on poe ninja but i would like to see more in depth guide. Thank you!
P.S.:Thank you Kay for your guides- they are impressive! Is there any chance that you will make aura stacker version of the SO spectre build?

I have similar gear and am finding it is not the fastest bossing or clearing juiced t16s etc. you able to quickly do maven 10-way, A8 sirus, the harder maven invitations etc. I'm wondering if a 6-7L helm/chest setup is better than diadem.
