SD is not bad, I finished story with them. They can survive no problem, but I think 1 died in Act 6 boss fight because it was running inside the ocean :P

Not sure about Carrion build... I think it's still good but just less damage than before.

FAS is OK, but I think we can change spectre to SO or Crabbie when we reach maps.

Also Ultimatum monsters can be spectres so maybe we can fid a good spectre :)

Yes, there's a big change because monsters scaling in story is pretty weak, but it gets very high in maps.

For example, you can run through the story with skitter + infernal + ele focus and all the white monsters will die in 1s. But in maps, it takes more time.

Change to the league starter gems when you reach maps :)

Um... I don't recommend trying to tank. sometimes you get crazy mods on the rare heist monsters and it will one shot.

I do like this:

1. Cast 3x storm brand in front of door.
2. click on door to open
3. stand to one side
(4. cast vaal skele in front of door.)

Do we really need minion damage for Stone golem and Zombies? I feel they almost never focus or attack bosses or other targets most of the time because of Meat Shield.

I didnt use the gem but Predator doesnt look so necessary to me. If we are bossing, there is only 1 target to attack already for our spectres. What am I missing?

I didnt try SRS end game, I will give them a try but feels there must be better options for that 4link slot.


I really loved your channel and guide. Would be happy to see a HC guide from you, some general advices and tweaks to builds for HC.

Actually use VSS, I just don't have space in video to put full name, but it's in the page 1 guide.

I didn't use CWDT or other guard skill because Bone Armour shares cooldown with other skills like Molten shell or IC. If you don't mind VMS mechanic, you could spec out of Bone barrier and use VSS + granite. and then also use all armour items for gear.

I gave Zombie MS and damage so they can quickly kill monsters that come nearby the necro. I guess you can swap it to another gem, maybe AG and give AG defensive gear. like Sin Eater + Alm.

You can swap to FAS as soon as possible. SD is too low HP for mapping :( Another option is Scale of Esh from breach. It's same gems as SD.

Predator is super important for HC actually! It will focus your minions to attack boss and you can move away to safe distance. If you don't use Predator, the minions will run back to you (leash distance).

SRS is also really nice for HC, the agro radius is bigger than the screen, so you can offscreen kill anything :) Unfortunately SRS is a bit weak by itself so I don't use them as main DPS.

For levelling, maybe need to change spec out of MI after Act 5.

The main reason I use MI nowadays is because the minions die easily in Act 1-3 when I tried Ziz HC gauntlet, so actually the explosion helped a lot!

In act 4, I recommend Unleash support so you can cast 3 at the same time. cast/move/cast/move
