Didn't played Rhex, can't say if it's worse or better. All those spectres can use 4G Triad Grip for cold conversion. I think this would make rituals a lot easier too. Any advice on BP vs Templar? I think I actually ran the Thaumaturge last league but it looks similar to BP.
