So, first impression here:
1) no vendor check for movespeed boots, not critical, but they help alot with running through zones and avoiding boss hits, picking every pair of magic and rare boots and iding them of MS boots is also important.
2) for dweller you can leave a portal right at the bridge, run up to the prison and take the portal back for the dweller, it saves a bit of time.
3) Brutus fight - stay mid-range to the boss, so you see him all the time but don't get into melee, same goes for Marveil
4) if you did not get iron rings for the recipe, you can buy them, BUT, you can buy sapphires right away at the same price (i was laughing hard when i saw 2 sapphires at the vendor you did not mention them xD )
5) To find the ship graveyard after brutus fight, go to the side that does not have a rock wall, there is no need to go up to Piety and then turn around
Also, it is recommended to have a list of base set-up links, for example:
"For this leveling setup we will need initially 2 3links BBB and BBR and 2 extra sockets of blue color elsewhere on the gear, later we will need 2 4Ls helmet, body armor or gloves with BBBB and BBBR"
P.S. 6) Kill all essence mobs, essences are your best friend at crsfting your first gear and capping resists (you skipped and essence in the zone after brutus)

1. Hm. Forgot about that. Usually I craft the boots so I can have the right socket colours, but I didn't get any augments and I think I just gave up on it.
2. I didn't do this because don't always get portal scroll on first play. I got lucky for portal scroll at exactly the bridge, but maybe another player won't get it. My mind was 'play like having worst rng on day 1'.
3. Range is a bit weird when playing in square window, but actually you can see Brutus is always in view. :)
4. I forgot to check because I was thinking about what to do if she doesn't sell them.

6. Essence of Contempt doesn't help Necro build though.

2. You always get a portal scroll from hailrake, and if you use the logout trick you will have the scroll for dweller trick.
6. Even the most useless essence early on can be used on a white ring or belt as a free alch. Some stats is better than no stats.

I see your point about essence. Just throw it on any white gear and maybe get some nice mods!

I don't mind the comments! League start is 5-6am for me so I'm usually half asleep and I just level one character, so I always learn new things :)
Same thing for me, but I am also too lazy to try speedrunning. Anyway most players will never achieve 3.30 timing to start mapping. I tried one run with your new setup and it was 33min 20sec, i think pretty good. Maybe in Heist i can end acts in ~5-6 hours what will be great.
Curses that are considered Marks are Warlord's Mark, Poacher's Mark, Assassin's Mark and Sniper's Mark (which is the reworked Projectile Weakness).
Now we have hexes (Flammability, Frostbite, Conductivity, Elemental Weakness, Vulnerability, Despair, Temporal Chains, Enfeeble and Punishment), marks (Warlord's Mark, Poacher's Mark, Assassin's Mark and Sniper's Mark) and old plain curses
Unless there's something I'm missing, there are no Curses that aren't either a Hex or a Mark. Both are just a subset of Curses. So there are no "plain curses"

As far as Deathmark, I think it actually would be pretty neat to rework it as a "Mark"
Death's Mark (not support)
Minion, Spell, Duration, Curse

Your Minions always target your Death's Marked Enemy if possible
The advantages being
1) it's no longer a support gem so you can use a different one for your minions
2) it applies to all your minions and not just supported ones
Punishment
the second effect that Punishment now applies which causes monsters to explode, dealing a percentage of your overkill damage to monsters around them.
This is the most interesting curse for me! I think it will make many spectres very good at map clearing because of overkill.
It will be very flexible if you can get white socket on Profane Proxy. Just swap curse to Sniper's Mark for bossing if you want more DPS.
I would be willing to bet Profane Proxy (and Blasphemy obviously) will be changed to only apply to Hexes, so I doubt it would be necessary to use Profane Proxy on bosses at all. How would a single target ability being applied by an aura choose which target gets the Mark?
The only question in my mind would be what happens to Curse on Hit. I wouldn't be surprised if that becomes "Hex on Hit" as well. Think about how a Mark would work on multiple/piercing/forking/chaining projectiles. The Mark would bounce between the most recently hit targets and basically do nothing. However, it would still technically work fine on single target abilities or in single target situations and that's why I'm not sure this one will change.

Maybe just become Hex on Hit? Or can it target the highest level monster? Rallying Cry knows if a boss is near you so the techonology kinda exists!
Maybe PP, Blas and CoH get rework that has different effect for Hex and Mark?
I think PP will still be good though. Punishment for mapping and then Ele Weakness or special ele curse for bosses.
I'm really curious about Punishment. It's like giving all your minions explode chest. Even if it did no extra damage it will be amazing.

Maybe it's possible to go faster if skipping some more stuff. I target the levelling guide for newer players and usually they spend more time in Acts. And that's fine! Why not enjoy the journey :)
For Harvest, I kept falling asleep during league start. I didn't get much sleep because preparing guide etc. I had to go back to sleep because I couldn't stay awake haha
