Like Kay said, it's usually degen that kills him, but he can also die from sustained damage. No matter how high his HP, if he stays inside the degen or keeps taking sustained damage, he will die. Even Redemption Sentries can die to those things too.

The best way to keep AG alive is to constantly use convocation to keep him out of danger. Meat shield will also help a lot since he will stay close to you, and usually you aren't standing in death zones :) Meat shield also allows for his other buffs (like from kingmaker) to stay on you. However, it does usually mean that his buffs wont effect your spectres, and also causes problems if you are trying to use him for feeding frenzy too.

Basically there is nothing you can do to guarantee that AG will stay alive, it's just not possible. But those are a few ideas that will help. Personally, I gave up to AG, just too much hassle.

If I have a +2 wand is it worth getting +1 boots/amulet or would I better going for minion damage amulet?

I use a defensive AG with Sin Eater now though. Works pretty well and is cheap so you don't want to cry when it dies :P

I posted about it a few weeks ago... but lost in the pages.

It has Sin Eater, Leper's Alm, Con Ground body, Emberwake, Leer cast, rare glove with chaos res.

If the +2 wand gets you to 5 specters, than it's really a matter of balancing life/defense/resists and utility with boots and amulet. If all those are ok, then sure go for damage. This is what I am using.

My AG is gonna have 100% or more hp regen per second(fleshcrafter on me, stitched demon on AG) so its really only oneshots im worried about

Hi, first of all, thanks a lot for the build. I have a question about the pure spectres version: the cluster jewel with lightning damage, assuming that doesnt affect to minion damage, i dont know why we want to use it. is only for "overshock" and "vengeful commander"? why dont use cjewels with minion damage? Thanks a lot for response, and sorry for the bad english (not native language)
