My first uber elder kill was achieved today by using your build. Thanks!
If i were to roll a skill on an elder unset ring....which one do u think would best help me using this build?

It looks like the only ones available are
-Poachers Mark *on hit* lvl 8 or 12
-Warlords Mark *on hit* lvl 8 or 12
-Herald Of Ash lvl 22
Got the Elreon enchants, Avian, the whole shebang on console. Uber is down, the build is fantastic. Only difference is that I kept Victario's and sacrificed four nodes (or one jewel so far) for it. However garb of the ephemeral intrigues me... how difficult have you guys found it to keep AG alive without gruthkuls? Mine has not died yet, but my delve is only mid 300 and I haven't fought the synthesis slam boss, Aul or Cortex yet. He seemed to do alright in the Uber fight.

For the build uniques:

tl;dr:

You must buy Bones of Ullr (cheap)
You should buy Tabula instead of Vis Mortis
Can ignore Wraithlord


Long answer:

The only 'must have' item is Bones of Ullr. This will give you +1 spectre. Your character will have 2 spectres from the skill and passive tree, so the boots give you 50% more damage, straight up. Even in the opening hours of a fresh league start, it costs 1-2 alch/1c.

After that, everything is optional.

Wraithlord is highly recommended to improve spectre survivability, but it's not necessary. You can get by without it. I usually don't bother using it myself.

Anatomical Knowledge is recommended because it gives 8% increased life and 23 flat life when slotted in the correct spot. Optional.

Unending Hunger is hard to quantify because there are no minion stats in-game, but we know that it grants 5% increased attack speed, 5% increased cast speed and 1% increased character size per stack, and our spectres can get to double their size. Completely optional.

Victario's Charity gives a lot of DPS via frenzy charges. Again, optional. People playing HC tend to not use it at all.

Vis Mortis is the only unique that requires some thinking. Its main benefit is the +1 spectre. So, that would be 33% more damage (3 specs -> 4 specs). But with a Tabula Rasa, your 3 spectres can gain a 6th link, for example Elemental Focus for 49% more elemental damage. So it's actually better to have 3 spectres in a Tabula than 4 spectres in a 5L Vis!

Also a Tabula is often cheaper than Vis + Jeweller's Touch prophecy (5L). Vis Mortis is only useful if you can get a cheap 6L. Actually, if you look back several pages, someone managed an Uber Elder kill at level 83 with a Tabula.

Lastly, I've demonstrated an Uber Elder kill with only 4-linked spectres, so that 5-6ex that you would spend buying a 6L Vis could be spent on other gear and jewel slots.

Overall, the elder mods are not useful for this build.

Herald of Ash only affects our player character (the summoner), and doesn't affect our minions. So it's useless.

Poacher's Mark will give your spectres frenzy charges, which is very nice. But we already use Projectile Weakness (and Flammability) as our curses.

Warlord's Mark will give endurance charges, but our spectres don't really have a problem with survivability by the time you get an Elder ring.

In my first Cortex fight, I lost 2 i86 spectres but my AG survived. It only had Gruthkul's.

One thing that helps a lot is being able to see the AG's health bar on your buff bar, which give you the ability to reposition it.

My first AG survived everything until I tried a deep delve node that was Azurite 3 with 2x damage mods, 12% ele pen, shocking ground and 33% chance for elemental ailment. This combo just completely overwhelmed the AG and my specs.

Outside that, it's pretty tough with 47k+ life and something like 15% regen while standing on conc ground.

Im super confused :( where in the guide are we using flammability? i have looked all over and cant find it. Forgive me, this is my first season playing and im still getting use to everything. so i can be a little lost at times. lol

Sorry about that. I had a mistake in the gem link section. I wrote 'Elemental Weakness' as the passive, but it should say 'Elemental Equilibrium'. (Elemental Weakness is the name of a curse).

The basic guide recommends Projectile Weakness as the single curse, but many players have chosen to use two curses in their personal extension of the basic build. You need to craft 'additional curse' or take 'Whispers of Doom' on the passive tree to do this. The second curse of choice would be Flammability.

For me the hardest nodes are these with the green background encounter that doesnt have separate room, not sure about their name. For some reason these monsters hits crazy hard even if mods are not that scary, i lost a few AG there from oneshots.
