I had no idea there was a ring that negates 80% of reflect damage, that's huge. This might be worth a mention in the FAQ answer for reflect damage.
Yeah. Personally I usually just save the maps until I roll a "cannot take reflected damage" sextant then use em up with that. Lots of ways to deal with it now. :)

What spectres do you recommend for pure single target?

Using them in a helm purely for that reason in a DD necro build with some very high minion scaling.

If you use helmet, SD has the highest scaling damage. They can benefit from all the big helmet mods. So you can get 9L helmet for them.

How do SD benefit from hypothermia as they deal lightning damage?

Looks likes RS would be able to '9 link' though. Their AoE spell, but not melee would work with all of those.
I am curious which build is going to have the best DPS and survivability between PS and S&S? I enjoy the speed of S&S but I feel like a squishy glass cannon and am often one shot with only 6500 life.

With the right spectre/gem swap ele reflect maps are doable?

If you really want to do maps with elemental reflection using spectre builds, I think maybe your best bet is Redemption Sentry since their attacks are cold and physical hybrid.

Negative. The elemental portion is what is scaled. If you truly want to run ele reflect maps, just swap to summon skeletons for a map. Ideally in a queen's escape. That's what I did when I rolled a fat juicy map with ele reflect.

6500 life is a lot. If you are getting one-shot by anything less than bosses then you are just positioning yourself poorly. You should never be hit by attacks you can see coming.

Supported Skills deal (20-39)% more Damage with Hits and Ailments against Chilled Enemies

Only requires the enemies to be chilled for hits and ailments and skitterbots can take care of that.

Yes, bosses especially higher tier Sirus and Shaper, Is that typical? This was my first league. Anyway, Curious which of the two would be better for bosses then.

In boss fights you must avoid certain attacks. With the exception of a few builds, you are supposed to die if you fail to dodge. For example, Sirus rotating beams, Shaper slam and laser beam. Watch fight guides on youtube to get good at recognizing the cues for these attacks. They are ALL cued. To be clear, getting hit by these abilities is generally considered 100% player mistake.

Now we can talk about unavoidable (for the most part, god-tier players can avoid most of this damage too) damage. This is trickle damage from lesser attacks and spells that most people can't avoid. Your build only needs to have enough life and life recovery that you aren't one shot by these abilities and you can get back to full life before you get hit by the next one. Uber elder will smack you while you dodge Shaper attacks for example. The better you get at dodging stuff, the less your build needs to be able to tank and heal from these things.

As far as choosing which build, you are generally going to want to focus on farming speed. Having difficulties with end-game bosses is mostly an experience thing. You aren't going to be able to out-gear or out-build a lack of experience. Storm brand has pitiful boss DPS in cheap gear. But it's considered a Tier 1 boss skill because it allows you to focus on dodging while it does the damage for you. So just take the deaths as you practice the fights and focus on speed farming maps for currency and loot. Later on as you start to feel confident in boss farming then you can look at catering your build for it. But, don't focus on it early. Map farming is significantly more profitable than boss farming unless you are an experienced player with a build who can quickly end boss fights. PS is generally going to end up being more tanky because it has less of a gear requirement than S&S. But it will come down to personal decisions you make as you gear. Neither is going to end up tanky enough to survive dumb mistakes. You get 6 portals for a boss fight. That's how many mistakes you get to make. The key is to learn from them. And remember, there is no shame in asking for someone to kill a boss for you. Just make sure you select someone you trust. I do it for free for my guildies while they are still new. And even as a super experienced player, I will turn to the masters in my guild to help me if I'm blowing through portals on Uber or woke8 Sirus.

So in summary, pick the build you enjoy the most. Accept that you will die to bosses until you get good at them. Focus on mapping speed for best profit.

Just released the new Anointing Enchantments Table https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2874150

At least we don't have to worry about Death Attunement. It hasn't changed. Thought maybe since they said some would change they would give it a higher cost oil.
