I think the idea was to test Fork as a replacement to LMP, using both would lose you too much damage.

I saw a lot of criticism like 'oh gem swap. this build is bad'. But the big problems is sentries only shoots one projectile. So they need multiple projectiles for mapping. That's why I tested A-Fork to completely replace Pierce+LMP.

I tested with T14 Tropical Island (4 scarabs, sextants, alva).

A-Fork + Vicious definitely killed monsters faster, especially delirium rares and the legion rares, but the clearing part was not as good.

Chain + LMP had better clear than Fork because the projectile can fly backwards, but single target damage was not good.

Pierce + LMP had better clear because projectiles keep flying and hit monsters offscreen, but sometimes needed to hit rare monsters a few times.

I also thought Pierce was better at clearing big blobs of monsters. Likke when monsters are on a shrine.

So for me, Pierce + LMP has the best balance. You can carry Vicious Proj and swap for LMP if you need the big boost.

Almost always, without fail in the last phase it goes like this (even though supposedly the order is randomized, I think I've gotten a reversed ability order once or twice in my dozen or so kills):

He lands and a second later teleports dropping his deathmark and starts the 4 way beam.

Charges up spinny beam, I deathmark and spectres arrive get a few hits in, nowhere near enough to kill him. He teleports again and does the circle (he's unattackable now) and does multibeam.

If I survive that, he teleports away from me (almost always off screen) right after he's done.

He casts multibeam a second time and I die because I've no idea where it's coming from. Rinse and repeat portal after portal as I whittle him down a few attacks at a time cause he's unattackable half the time in the last phase.

Only way I've found so far to beat it is to just use Saffell's Frame and eat the beams with 54% spell block and 80% max resists so I can get some actual DPS time in after each combo.

Am I doing something wrong or am I just bad at it cause I can't keep track of him?

I think Sirus fight is just random luck. You can get easy phase 4 or really hard phase 4. Like Sirus teleports into a storm and shoots die beam from there! Cannot do anything at all.

I don't really play so much now, so I only spawned Sirus twice in two weeks. For both times, RK got him to about 45-50% life and he went to channeling first and I killed him before he finished.

The last time I did Sirus with S&S, I got him to about 50% and he went to meteor. Channel was next, but he only went to 40%. Then die beam. Then clone phase, then corridor. It was next to the fountain and ground degen around, so space was really small.



I tweaked my build a lot after S&S, so maybe that's why Sirus is easier now? Also I noticed that he is getting frozen (I think), so that helps a lot with the DPS.

New to spectre build. Very nice guide! Good to see spectre being main dps rather than support to zombie.

Couple small questions. I am sure it has been answered before.

1. Are frost Sentinel not good? Any other good spectre not mentioned in the guide? I only know about the supporting ones from playing zombie.
2. Can't really get to 5 spectre until boot/armour has +1. How is mapping with only 3 spectre?

will the best support be from fire or cold?

Had same Question in Mind and found out that these HunterMod u can get on Chest only does anything to Spectres the Moment u use to summon an Spectre but after that does not work on it anymore.

compared to Avian (even if you get to get 100% uptime 10% more damage (10% chance to double damage) and even spider 3 stacks (more than 10% more damage, around 16%) shocked of level 21 skitterbots is alone 20% inc. damage taken, no to talk about chills, the capacity of skitterbots to support Frenzy gem and many others so as to unburden yourself/spectres.
