You need the crit or increased elemental damage to work, the +3 is a huge boost in life but very little in terms of damage compared with crit and elemental dmg. You basically will get the same damage (at least in my setup) having it in a 6 link or the helmet you post. It can be really good if you want another source of damage like zombies but you will gain nothing outside of more health in your Spectres.

This is my question too. In the case of getting the perfect helmet, what do you socket on the 6L chest that is free now? Because I don't know if zombies scale very well with Hatred, not sure.

Looks like 2 Mods still open to me but can be wrong on that Part, Gratz, its really an Beauty and hitting t1 SpellCrit is just a fortune. Like 2-3k HorrorEssences in and over 7k Insanity´s. The Best i had during all that was an +3 Crit shaperMod with InsanityMod and no other Ones on Base, 27 Exalts later i learned that Metacrafting is simply for Who can afford it. But hit lvl 18 Miniondam 2 Times during. Now i am back collecting each 3-10Map Essences from new and spamming exactly these Base. It is not easy, really not.
The Helmet i wear came out of frustration after another big Pile of Essences was gone and all my Exas with em, i just chaosspammed and lurked what i can get :(



Sadly the other Helmets i keeped and started looking for another usefull Enchant to awaken;



Hubris was my Starter but i still like it. The Phoenix Horn One is the Troll who eated my Currency there i tried Metacrafting before. Now i am to afraid of simply slamming and Hope on any of these Helmets.

A little other Thematic but it keeps running thruth my Head. Its about possible SpectreEnchants, 40 Dam is really ok, but not that impressive for compared to what other Enchants give. Ias+CS One is same 12 is really low, imagine hitting an Shield with +2 Frenzy +2 Power- 10 attackspeed- 30 increased ElementalDamage and 30 increased Physdamage, in an perf World with respective open Prefix for Extra Dam Craft but alone an Suffix on an Shield is same weight as ÜberLabEnchant? Increased Ele + inc. Physdam can be even higher as that 40 inc SpectreDamEnchant in Case of using Redemption Spectres but that would be 2 Mods compared. I awakened more as 20 Shields cause of that Thinking. Should stop doing it...

Did you try Deathmark? I think it was the most important upgrade for spectres in 3.8. You tag the boss and the spectres keep attacking even when you are completely off screen!

Enduring Composure! I thought it was intersting when I read patch notes, but forgot about it because I was looking at life notables. Do you use it with IC?

The Physdamreduce Endu Charges give are a really nice addition that i would not swap out. If i had 2 spare Sox left i would love to use any Combo of CwDt Defenselayer + any Gem but here helps my Megalomaniac with ViciuosBite + Enduring Composure. All other Megalomaniacs i have would be more questenable in my Eyes. Even the One with Feasting Fiends - Vicious Bite - First among Equals (Vengefull or Precise Commander would be a nice Combo with Vicious Bite that would make real sense to me to use in Terms of raw Numbers compared).
I started with an 6L Chest and Spectre-awa Miniondam-awa WED Gem- Deathmark-Pierce- GMP was my clearing setup and simply awa ViciousProje for GMP Swap my Single.
Maybee it was simply to greedy from Me to change to an Spectresetup in Helmet to get more Sox overall to use. I still even cheat with CoHcorrupt on Gloves for more sox =D

Overall i would not wonder much that Redemption Sentry would feel really smooth as they had same aggro and aggrorange as SrS or Skellis linked with Feeding Frenzy last League. Any Way to increase there AggroRange would be Nice!-)

Want to try expensive variation, but couldn't find POB for it.

What helped me was actually buying all of the listed flasks. You should be popping all of those flasks before you run right into the center of mobs.

I've been juicing up shaper and elder maps and running into huge packs without taking mostly any damage and im at 5.5k hp.

Sorry a little difficult to understand your post... but the Enchants I would suggest are:

-Spectres have 40% increased Damage
-Spectres have 12% increased Attack and Cast Speed

And if you focus on Sentry/Knight:
-Flesh Offering grants an additional 21% increased Attack Speed

21% ias will help a lot for Sentries because their base APS is bad.


Sentry agro range seems really far. When I tried to use a spell to proc EE and cast curse, they killed all the monsters before my spell hit.

I have 7.2k life and Sentry do 1.5M with LMP/Pierce. Can get swap Vicious Proj/Ele Focus and do 3.1M.

Maybe tanky zombies: meatshield, minion life. They stand next to you so will take hits before you.

You can also try to scale them for damage. They are phys base, so hatred will work well with them. I think zombie damage scales best with levels, so use Emp4. Elemental Army will give them cold exposure proc (-10% cold res) to give Sentry/Knights more damage.

p.s. with some adjustments it can gain 20kk dps, but with 6k life. but for me it is tradeoff for dps

You can try to switch to EB & MoM build, than redemption sentry+cluster jewels

Interesting. Will tinker a bit with it (first I have to get a helmet!) hehe.
