[3.11] Brittleknee’s SRS Necromancer - Reliable, Beginner-Friendly. All content. Harvest Ready!
Ok cool, I'm guessing a convoking wand with that incursion mod and then some other very lucky rolls would be best.
Here's my temp piece I've been rocking so far this league. Also I noticed that my Immortal Call procs activate the cool down on Bone Barrier. This is a really annoying interaction since you want to use Bone Barrier on demand. I'd assume that Bone Barrier has a similar issue with Molten Shell and Steelskin but I haven't tested those abilities yet. Also I dug around into some possibilities with Animated Guardian and I'm really excited about that now. I think the ideal setup for that would be an elder bone helm with +3 minion skills, Minion Damage, Minion Life and then whatever life/resist combo you could afford. Socket Animate Guardian, Zombies, Minion Speed, Feeding Frenzy (for aggressive minions during maps), or Fortify for bosses. If your AG used Kingmaker you could drop your orb of storms setup and give all your minions fortify! Last edited by Lemistio on Dec 18, 2019, 10:50:31 AM

Anyone more familiar with the build able to help a SRS newbie out? My damage is pretty great, uninterrupted most bosses godown in 3-10 seconds. SRS is on a Tabula right now, trying to 6L a Covenant so keep that in mind. I'm going to transition out of Necro Aegis and into MoM I think, possibly putting Vaal haste in a Essence Worm and re-gearing my boots, gloves, belt, amulet, and shield for more life mana armor and ES (or do I not want ES at all? I'm not sure how it interplays with MoM) What shield should I go for? Ahn's or Magna? I need better survivability right now without spending a tonne, I only have about 50c to spend, Ahn's would allow me to drop Vaal haste into an Essence Worm and go MoM, but Magna would give huge armor and that nice bubble, and it would improve whatever gem setup I throw in there. I followed the guide mostly but have dropped Immortal Call and also want to know what the next best defensive gem setup would be if needed. I went Bone Armor only to discover you have to cast the thing, I wish it was a cast when damage taken effect as I only have so many buttons to play with here. Anyway, if you wanna take a gander at my character and let me know what you think I could improve, if i should go into MoM, and what I should do for gloves/boots and especially shield I'd be grateful of anyones help. All the best. Last edited by Goldenhawk07 on Dec 18, 2019, 1:32:43 PM

" This isn't actually an issue, it's intended that all "guard" skills share a cooldown unfortunately. |

How are you sustaining/regening/leeching mana when casting SRS? I've got it 6 linked at 40 mana cost per cast. If I'm trying to fire off a bunch of SRS I need to pop my mana flask. Wondering how this works on higher levels without a mana flask (I'm only at A10 now).

" The covenant chest makes this supported by blood magic, so it costs life instead of mana. They are very cheap.
First of all, thanks for the guide Brittle.
I am really noob at SRS builds but i want to try something new this league. What do u think guys about new awakened multistrike gem? PoB says that is better than other gems, but as i said, i am new at SRS. Thanks |

" Oh I see, any idea if the approximate 2 ex for a 6 link covenant is a good price? As exalts get more expensive will the armor price typically go up too?
" To manually 6L any 20% armour, it takes an average of around 1100-1200 fusings. Assuming a fuse:chaos ratio of 2:1 (some leagues this is not accurate), that is around 550-600c average cost for 6L. At 100c per exalt, this comes out to around 6ex worth of fusings. Thus the cost of 6L is roughly 6ex (ignoring variance). This is why if you look at any highly used item such as loreweave, the cost of a 6L will be roughly equal to (base price of loreweave + 6ex). This is ignoring any returns from selling 5L hits and rebuying a fresh base. You can usually use this 6ex number every league as a rough estimate, but you can always work out the specifics at any time based on the above process. For something like the covenant, there is an oversupply, probably from incubators or whatever. So the cost of buying a 6L is well below the cost of linking one, not to mention you don't deal with the variance of manual linking, which is potentially a very important benefit on your first character. At 2ex for a 6L, you should always buy and never try to manually link. I bought mine for 2ex on day 2. If it still costs 2ex, it doesn't look like it will change anytime soon (though the value of exalts has gone up since day 2). Hopefully this helps you not only on this occasion, but in the future too :) Last edited by Bobblybook on Dec 20, 2019, 6:12:29 AM

How do you have 2ex by day 2 exactly?
I got lucky and manually 6-L it within 100 fusings but man, if I didn't get lucky I dunno what id have done if i had to find a way to earn that currency |

" Exalts were only around 50c, easy to do unid chaos recipe on the first few days and gather a bunch of chaos from there. I just fill a quad tab, once I have a build up of rings/amulets I sell it down and repeat. There's more efficient ways to do it with specific loot filters and tabs but this is quick enough for me. |
