The preliminary Delve Update is done! PoBs have been updated with a proposed updated tree!
This is just my first little work through, and as I stated in my Delve update at the top of the guide, I'm not quite ready to surrender Necromantic Aegis just yet. If you want to be tankier or are a HC player, you can definitely drop those nodes in lieu of life or other things. What's really neat is this update has really evened out the damage across all builds. Now its truly a playstyle choice versus going for what may provide the most damage. I have a lot on my plate right now. I'll do my best to roll the remaining updates out needed to fully bring the guide up to date as soon as I can. I'm still trying to finish the Champion guide and the corresponding video for him. Please feel free to ask any questions here or stop by the stream! Hi BK! I've chosen SRS as a league start this time because I feel the SRS mechanics would work pretty well for Delve mechanics, with your Bees(okay, this is the real reason I'm going SRS) seeking out monsters while you're staying at the safety of the Crawler.
I was wanting to know about your opinion of this variant of the build, using Mon'tregul's Grasp Zombies, a Stone Golem, and a level 1 CWDT Convocation to provide an additional layer of defense. https://pastebin.com/vJQuwr6L |

" I think SRS can be fun when augmented with Zombies, and the build is flexible enough to accommodate them. It was easier in the old tree to add Zombies in, but I tweaked your PoB around a bit, and pathed through certain areas and to pick up some notables I thought were important. If you want them as meat shields, I picked up some things to keep them extra meaty. Without seeing the gear you're intending to use, this is the best recommendation I can make. You had some Uniques in there, but I wasn't sure if that was simply a rough idea or what you were intending. Hope this helps! https://pastebin.com/iF3radFP Check me out on Twitch! http://www.twitch.tv/brittleknee

It was more like a rough idea. Only thing I have set in stone I want are a Covenant, Mon'tregul, and Victario's. I was iffy on the Grip of the Council because of the reduced move speed on minions.
Thanks for the assist! <3 |

" Keep in mind you will need Command of the Pit gloves for the additional +1000 Minion Accuracy to bring you to ~92% Minion hit chance for Shaper/End Game Bosses if you're going Victario's Charity. End game Delves will exceed lvl 84 mobs. A switch back to Lyco may be needed if you're really going to push into higher Delves. So it seems like its gonna be Lyco/Grip and Charity/Pit as far as the shield/gloves swap. Check me out on Twitch! http://www.twitch.tv/brittleknee

Sorry about the crap formatting, I did it in excel, then tried to fix it some, but I'm lazy :P
Is this the path for the gems? The Caged Brute " Breaking Some Eggs " The Siren's Cadence " Enemy at the Gate " Intruders in Black " Sharp and Cruel " Sever the Right Hand " A Fixture of Fate Breaking the Seal " The Eternal Nightmare " Siosa (Library)(Buy) " This is based off of early leveling where the other minion types are still useful. You don't get Summon Stone Golem, Spell Echo Support, and Brutality Support from A Fixture of Fate (it's Breaking the Seal, The Eternal Nightmare, and Fallen from Grace (act 6) respectively). The others are correct, but you can get a lot of the A Fixture of Fate rewards earlier (in doubt just check the wiki page of a gem you're interested in).

I haven't played much the last 2 leagues but I was under the impression that Spectres were simply stronger than SRS lately for both clear speed and bossing.
With that being said my question is simply, is there any objective reason to actually play SRS this league as opposed to Spectre's, or is it just for fun? Thanks. Last edited by Kotrr on Aug 31, 2018, 8:28:27 AM

" For the known content, I think the prefered playstyle is the biggest factor here. You can find boss kills from Abyss (that can get only better in Delve) on Brittleknee's channel and some recent VODs with her Champion SRS completing t16 maps. As far as I'm concerned, there is nothing to be disappointed about, as compared to spectres builds. I wonder how monster scaling in Delve will work for these two types of summoners though. We'll know better soon :) |
