[3.11] Brittleknee’s SRS Necromancer - Reliable, Beginner-Friendly. All content. Harvest Ready!
" Ideal helmet for this league will be a Bone Helmet with Flesh Offering grants an additional 21% Attack speed. If you plan on working in something like Aspect of the Avian, you'll want to craft with Fossils or Loathing essences for reduced mana reservation. Boots should be a nice high life, res and movement speed pair of boots. Onslaught would be a nice implicit because you could take another more defensive flask instead of a Silver flask. The enchant you want on these is 2% Life and Mana Regen if you've been hit recently. Jewelry have statistically always been rares, Coral bases for rings, Jade for ammy. Haven't taken a look in a while on whats out there. Can craft with Fear essences if you'd like for Minion speed. Minion speed = Clear speed. Check me out on Twitch! http://www.twitch.tv/brittleknee

" You can do CWDT + Elemental Weakness since Enfeeble + Temp chains were gutted recently. So, its up to you. Run whichever you'd like! I was playing around with some links, working on a variant for deeper delving that uses spectres for charge generation so we can stack up some block + more life. I was leaving some sockets open because I'm still waiting to see where the accuracy is at after the change and if we need to work in War banner and perhaps an Enlighten to work in Aspect of the avian, too. Right now its looking like the latest PoB doesn't reflect the accuracy changes. With the new Covenant tree, we have enough regen we don't need Stone Golem anymore. So that's one of the free slots. That tree as is, even without the +1 and 21/20 gems will get you Shaper and Red elder easily. I'll be revisiting the build in detail this league and will be fixing things as I go. Its been a fun to do other things for few leagues, but now its time to "come home" back to SRS. Check me out on Twitch! http://www.twitch.tv/brittleknee

Thanks!
Is there any merit to Death’s Door + Alpha’s Howl for the boot and helmet slots? Immunity to bleed, freeze, and reserved mana reduction seem like pretty good QOL, though of course you’re then more pinched on resistances.
" Yep. The updated one is going to be your best bet. I tested it in Standard before updating the guide to re-confirm all boss viability. The only thing I couldn't test is Aul because I don't have one up in my Delve :( Check me out on Twitch! http://www.twitch.tv/brittleknee

" I've never played around with either of those in the build. Early on there was someone working with Alpha's howl, I can try and find the PM with their calculations if it interests you. You can check in the earlier pages of the post history.. it wasn't long after I first posted the guide. I'd say one of the biggest strengths of the build is the ability to do minor tweaks like that to fit your playstyle. Some variations in gear may yield less DPS but if you are having more fun playing it that way, then all the better. Check me out on Twitch! http://www.twitch.tv/brittleknee

Hi, great guide you've wrote here! Thank you so much.
Im fairly new to the game and I'm going for SRS with vaal Skeletons and I am a bit worried because the talents I picked are so different to yours. I'm specifically confused about why you skipped so many minion damage nodes. Is it just not worth it? I understand death attunement is pretty far in the tree but there are some nodes close to righteous army that you could have picked easily. I ask this as a complete noob trying to learn not questioning your build at all ofc. I kinda disregarded any minion durability nodes until I read this guide but it makes so much sense now that I will need to do some drastic changes to my talents. I was also going with Mind over matter and I was hating it so reading your thoughts about it totally made me change that.
" hey, not op but better fast answear before u reskill too much, u followed an outdated version, at the kinda top of the guide there is a 3.6 pob link with new tree etc. no minion damage notes are skipped (except far north wich is not worth it) and no more mind over matter, hope i get to u in time before u waste so many respec points just to respec again |

" It's not a wasted point, if you can afford any more points. It's better than 12% increased minion damage nodes, but it isn't a must have. " I'm not sure how it would look now (and I mean how much better ;) ), but about a year ago I was able to get to red maps with ssf SRS Necromancer, I didn't push it further. Mind that this build does utilize unique items though. " Usually it's healthier to prioritize your life over their damage, but you can cut out a few life nodes, if you want to. Small nodes are for that, adjust them to your liking. Last edited by Xayazi on Mar 12, 2019, 3:30:56 PM
