same error, don't even have "f:" drive (no wonder error happens) and I DON'T have multi-monitor setup, just one 16:9 monitor.
edit: I solved it by deleting poe config file in my documents (production_Config.ini). At least I think that solved it, switching to fullscreen and to whatever works now. Wasn't working before I did this. And yes, I reverted to all my settings and it still works. "Path of Exile be a online Action RPG set up in tha dark fantasy ghetto of Wraeclast.
