Anyone who is good at equations able to calculate what +3 golems nets you overall given the less DPS multiplier? Does the less life multiplier mean you have to run minion life? |

I did calculate a rough estimate of 15% increase in flame golem damage, however the life worries me

" If you are running 7 flame golems, you end up with 10, a 43% increase in golems, who then get hit for 40% reduced damage (60% of damage) which gets you down to a 6 golem equivalent. If you are running the 4-1-1-1, 4 flame golems become 7, a 75% increase, but 60% of 7 is 4.2, so you've gone from 4 golems to 4.2 golems. With the health hit and now you can't use other things in that slot. Overall seems pretty negative. I don't do much melee, but if you did a melee character and put this on with cast on damage taken you could run 4 golems all the time and get all of those buffs, but that's not a summoner build. |

Quick question, how come the chaos golem isnt run as well? Wouldn't this up the dps? not that it seems to need it; this build melts everything while I skip around cherry picking loot :)

I run golem with emp4 (because I can and like them with it, even if they could be stronger with other support), but even at 34-36k life they still die sometimes to this. More than that? Nothing will kill them: they'll regen ~20% life per sec, still immune to elemental damages. So if you want to have more life, put empower 3/4 and it'll be enough, but tbh, i don't think you'll need it, except maybe for a few bosses.
