" The true measure of skill, having to PvP for an objective so you can just sit off screen and fire in the direction of the goal. While a bunch of pawns that know no better traverse ridiculously tight corridors that are subject to the next measure of skill....traps. If those traps didn't kill you in 0.0000001 of a hit then that AoE overlap off the walls from the first guy did. Not only are these viable ways to team PvP but in 1v1 you get an area on the map the size of like maybe 1 square character unit where you're safe from AoE overlapping multiple projectile skills. But wait....you managed to matrix through all the 1 shot overlap, only to find on their person they have Barrage, Winter Enchant, Molten Shell, Cwdt/Cws and more. This game just oozes with raw talent, I have a composition book of player notes and strategy jotted down. Here I am with my team after a CTF, before we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate our victory. I'm the guy with the 2h sword.  GGG, the ADA of gaming....huuuur i gotz mai skilz. " some people does not play pvp to feel skilled though, or some people does not play to measure their skill level, or some people don't play pvp to be the best or to be better than others or to have better moves than others. there are set of builds to counter with the given set of builds that you'd like to play and you min max the shit out of your most beloved build until you counter all the existing set of builds in the meta. for me pvp is no different than coding or simple problem solving. you are extremely ego driven person, you are very afraid of getting told that you suck or i'm better than you, you always think that what's what people have in their minds. all i care about is Leo hideout.
PVP in POE lol - if I had to pick a mode it would Low Level Dueling in temp leagues. HLD Perm is the domain of ePeening trash talkers who "farm currency" 1 hour a month but have all mirrored/fully optimized gear anyway.
