Go into a Zana Nemesis map, and scour chance an elder Two-stone ring (lightning cold)

I got it in 91 chances, but I'm assuming that is a massive outlier. I went in expecting it to cost a few thousand chance/scours. You also might end up with elder chill of the brotherhoods instead. And yes, I 100% did it for style.

On another note, if you have the currency to spare, I suggest trying out Atziri's Acuity (about 4ex). I've felt a lot safer with vaal pact then life on hit barrage. Also for Bosses, power charge on crit corrupted Poet's Pens don't really sell for much higher than regular, and I like it better than Orb of storms to get power charges in those situations. For arcane surge, attach it to phase run, with how the duration works if your phase run eats 3 frenzy charges, arcane surge lasts like 20 seconds.

Also, make sure you aren't attacking faster than 4 aps. I actually had to adjust some of my attack speed related gems at some point. You want your in game attack rate to be at .25/.26 WITH frenzy charges. Generally that means no onslaught and don't activate an acceleration shrine before a big fight. If you go any faster then that, you'll lose damage, and you'll notice it when your nice line of ball lightnings start stuttering.

I've done shaper, forcing a phase change at the first Kamehameha each round, I'm confident I could do uber elder, but my atlas is set up for t16 elder map farming so I can't try it right now.

My gear is dumb and unnecessary, but if you're struggling with end game bosses, definitely consider Acuity's if you can, and set up arcane surge like I said above, phase run helps with survivability and it's easier to keep the surge buff up. Also consider Vaal Rf for 5 seconds of super saiyan when it matters most.

It's a great build @dariidar, A+

Why are we even using Mind of the Council? For 10% increased chance to shock? Giving up so much life + res for that single stat seems weird to me. Anyone care to explain? Thanks.
Anyone tried squeezing a Inspired Learning into the build?

Well, there is the 30% increased mana (you play with MoM), the fact you shock ennemies ALL THE TIME (so you get back mana so fast) and the protection from lightning damage.

But I have not tried another helm, so could not tell if other choices are great or not. I suppose it is not the cornerstone of this build (I'm not sure it is not), but I would not dismiss it for a simple rare with life and res...

Could someone take a look at my gear and see what i should upgrade next? I have about 10ex to spend, i am thinking my jewels first but if there is something else that is a bigger upgrade i would prefer to buy them first. The previous help i was given on this thread was really good and i am no longer dying on bosses (unless i do something stupid)

I have also seen a lot of people are running wrath and watchers eye instead of berek is this better?

Thanks again.

It's a MoM build and Mind of the Council essentially gives you infinite mana, so under most cases, instead of it being extra hit points, it's more like a 30% damage reduction because half a second after you get smacked your mana is full again.

Your Jewels are trash, you're right to upgrade those first :) Try to get multi on all of them. Next would probably be your coral ring. I'm not a huge fan of your gem set up. Barrage isn't very good for applying curses, try Frenzy+GMP

you also have no way of getting power charges in major boss fights, if that's what you're planning.

Wrath watcher eye is mana leech isn't? doesn't help with life leech

Thanks i have been playing for a while but never really pushed a build passed late 80's. So somethings fly right over my head so in regards to the jewels, what do you mean multi? I was following the guide in regards to barrage i would use frenzy at the start of boss fights to get stacks and use barrage mainly, but i will try frenzy in that setup instead of barrage.

I have a corrupted poets on weapon swap that i use on bosses that gives power charges on crit, i saw a few other people in this thread that have been doing end game content using the same so i assumed it would work?

I have no clue about watchers eye i just saw again from a couple of peoples profiles who posted in this thread that they are using it and not bereks ring, there using essence worm with wrath and the taming ring with wrath watchers eye.

Thanks again for taking the time to help and sorry for any nooby questions :)
Hi everyone,

is it worth using 3 herald instead of only 1 herald of thunder ?

if no, why ?
thanks
multi = critical multiplier, global, with lightning skills, and while dual wielding all work.

If you have corrupted poets, that's fine, that's what I use.

Wrath in essence worm is fine, I haven't looked into if it's worth loosing 25% pen without herald though. They are probably comparable. Wrath watchers eye doesn't give life leech, so it's possible they are relying on the .5% leech from the ascendancy.

it's a MoM build and it is a bit sketchy to reserve that much mana, even with the elementalist discount. We're also using a lightning skill, you really only want all 3 heralds if you're converting or using a stat stick, like with Blade vortex. That being said, in normal mapping I do run herald of ice because the extra shatter is satisfying. For big bosses I don't use it to be tankier.
