Every Char that i look at doesnt have Chaos res. Is that so unnecessary?

It's not so unnecessary as much as it's uncommon. Besides degen effects only chaos damage I can remember off the top of my head are Maligaro type bosses and the swirly chaos rock dude.
Against maps / bosses with chaos damage I usually go with an Atziri's Promise.

Blast Radius the the area nodes around it aren't in the final skill tree so you'll respec out of them at some point. There is still the one key node (Amplify) that is kept in the final tree.

AoE does help with Ball Lightning. The wider the AoE, the more times the BL can hit. So with Slower Projectiles, a wider AoE allows a single BL to hit the same target more often and more times per cast.

Really struggling on doing t16 map bosses, I was able to do Maze but had no portals left, tried hydra and just one-shot every-time even avoiding everything was using the evasion potion and everything else as-well.

I'm a little confused, what ability do you use to proc the poet's pens?

You can use either Barrage or Frenzy. I prefer Barrage as it's the main attack that's linked with LGoH which is what you'll be using against bosses anyway. I mainly use Frenzy just to gain the charges and then switch to Barrage.

Sorry if this has been asked but PoB and the videos suggest Shock Nova instead of Arc on swap mono, while the OP keeps Arc in the "end-game gems" section.

Which is right? Would appreciate an explanation please :)

This is the change for 3.3 Lightning ball is correct.
Look at the top of the build under 3.3 changes is an explanation.

I think you meant "Arc is correct" but okay thanks! Would be nice to update the PoB ^^

Can someone explain to me why OP says it is better to have no ascendancies? It seems like there are no drawbacks to going Elementalist.
