[3.10] Death's Oath CI Occultist (RETIRED)
" You have to rely on your warding flask for curses, I don't think you can overcap your resistances without absolutely GGG gear given the number of uniques we use. You should get warding on your quartz and get Experimenter's/Chemist's. Whatever helps you sustain charges better. I haven't had an issue keeping it up. I make build guides for fun.

Great guide! I followed both tips here and comments from Pohx's youtube vids. I managed to pick up good gear during the race league that has allowed me to run the darkness enthroned belt, which was a nice damage boost. Overcapping resist wasn't too difficult. Any thoughts on tri-curse? I'd imagine enfeeble is useful, but it doesn't seem too necessary since my deaths from this build usually involve big ignites, not paying attention, etc. I also tinkered with my tree to grab 2 +30 strength nodes so I could focus on resists on my rings/amulet.

" I've covered the tri-curse setup in the defensive section. I started out as tri-curse, but I wanted more clearspeed and single target so I switched to this setup. I haven't had any issues with survivability without enfeeble. I'd say you'd probably want it if you want to guarantee deathless t13+ maps/guardians with rippy mods. If you get a good watcher's eye and a ignite immunity flask you shouldn't have any issue even without enfeeble. " I don't really like taking plain stat nodes on my tree unless my build is stat scaling and I haven't had an issue maintaining flask uptime. I suppose its not a bad idea till you can afford better gear. I make build guides for fun.

Hey! Thanks for posting this version. I made a witch a day or so ago, got to 85. This is the most fun I've had in a while with a build. Made this 1 EXALTED ORB PER MAP version of the build. lol
Tier 11 Shaped Atoll https://youtu.be/7P4iH3RqdXc Tier 14 Dark Forest (With good pack size and a breach + beyond boss) Fun! https://youtu.be/lErm5j1Vmnc Music loud as all get-out. Sorry. Ty for dislikes. Edit: Again, what a fun build to learn about and play! Thank you! Finished the build, able to do t16 "comfortably". Shaper took like...forever, don't recommend it. I died a lot. I wasted like 3 shaper sets and finally did it on the 4th. So rip 120-140c. My path of building using this build. Obviously the dps looks lower (its higher), because I don't have the -90% from wither set to take effect, because you don't get -90% like the original post. Was really confused about this. The gems are very specific to my Watcher's Eye. So if I run lightning resist aura I become immune to shock! Allowing me to do even more maps easier. Also required different gear set up to be able to run 5 aura/curse. Have fun! https://pastebin.com/uppCBhhg Last edited by Dopesick21 on May 25, 2018, 3:36:06 PM

Hey :)
Im running almost same Build. I call it a Deathknight, cause the triple Curse :P Here are some Uniques i would, you could add maybe. This Helmet gives a free Blasphemy Link and extra reduced reserve Mana for curse-auras. Pretty nice if running 2-3 or even 4 Curse Auras. As offhand i recommend if playing CI. Its bleed immunity, ES rechargerate and max resi. Does a pretty nice combo with and the Jewel for reflecing your bleeds on yourself. Thats frenzy charges on hit. So i can play flickerstrike instead of shieldcharge. Just for fun. For the bleeding chance i use Its alot uniques, maybe bit expensive :P I think it fits the playstyle very well. Since the death aura kills most of the monsters, flicker strike can be used as a single target/boss kill abilty. Sometimes the Aura kills faster as i can flicker, so a leap or lightning warp for movement is needed too. | |
can this build turn to magic found ?

" The issue with so many uniques is that its difficult to fit in resistances and meet strength/dex requirements. I don't think you can fit in Haemophilia and Voidheart even with absolute GG rings and belt, for the same reason. Golden rule becomes pointless then. Allelopathy is too big of a damage boost to sacrifice. I tried comparing two versions of this build, one with Apep's and Red trail, one without. Regular - https://pastebin.com/CkjRAQDi With Apep's and Red Trail - https://pastebin.com/HpVbhXG7 Pros: 1. Bit of phys mitigation. 2. 3% increased max res. 3. Upto 3 Frenzies (more cast speed, attack speed, damage) 4. Unaffected by bleed. 5. 45% Faster ES recharge from Apep's. 6. 10% increased movement speed. Cons: 1. 1.5k less es. 2. REALLY expensive to gear because of the GG rares needed to fill out res and attributes. I think Apep's and Red Trial combo is a good idea, but the only things it gives us that are worth it imo are, frenzies, Faster ES recharge and 3% max res. We get more damage and speed, but I'll have to test and see if the lower ES feels good enough for this version to be worth the expense. If you have any gameplay videos of higher tiers, let me know.
