3.8 New Queens Escape + Baron - super fast physical skeletons + zombies

As someone who is on their 3rd version of this build, I agree, go life. DPS isn't much of an issue, even less of an issue with Vaal Skeletons to just delete bosses. The only content I had an issue with last league was uber elder, and that's cause my internet sucks and I lag too much.
I got a question. how much life do you aim for at level 91-95ish?

Also, do you guys ever gem swap when facing bosses? What should I replace melee splash with?

How do Melee Skeletons compare to Mage? I'm using a mage build while leveling now and already have 2 Dead Reckoning, but I've used Mage skeletons every season so Melee sounds interesting. Do they downsides compared to Mages?
This is my second iteration of this build, level 80 now in delve (made 93 in Incursion).

My play style is to run towards enemies, skirt around the edges and get behind them, all while tossing in a few skeletons. Then my Zombie army runs straight into the enemy group as they try to catch up with me.

In Delve, you are escorting the crawler, or stuck in the center of mobs. You can not run around behind enemy groups. So, I am trying a change to have 1000 strength instead to provide more sustain due to leeching off zombie attacks. Still undecided, because I had to sacrifice speed for strength (Alberon's Warpath instead of Seven-League Step). I am currently sitting at around 4800 life, since I had to push strength and strength jewels instead of life.

So far so good, and I will be able to work on life for the next few passives. I think I will have 2 outfits, speed for maps, strength for delve.

Anyone else trying the 1000 strength option? If so, how is it working?
Hmm. It's been a good while since I've done Incursion, so if anyone can remind me, that'd be great; did the normal summon skeleton that's bundled with the Vaal version always count towards the total when you unleash the horde? Because I feel that they used to be separate during Incursion.

Yes, replace melee splash with multistrike or ruthless for boss fights. Not essential but saves a few seconds in the fight.

At level 94, 8k life is amazing, 7.5k is good, 7k is fine, 6.5k is low and 6k is gonna die too easy.

I've used a lot of skellie mages. They are one of the safest ways to clear trash mobs, but clearspeed is generally slow, and you sacrifice a lot of defence to even get the bare minimum damage on them.

They also suck dealing with any type of room, corner or terrain.

Melee skellies are infinitely better at single target, scale damage way better, miss less (yes less!) Leave more room for defences, clear packed mobs better. With queens escape, clearspeed is better than mages.

If you want to do red maps, or delve deep, mages take about 5 times longer to kill bosses. But they are lovely to yellow map with.

Also for skellie mages, ignore necromancer. Occultist is far better: https://pastebin.com/GKqmppm3

I am yes, I was annoyed by the slow movement speed so I went for Seven-League and then missed my life leech more than I expected so it took a lil bit of gimping (Many Brawn) but I now have 1028 Strength and Seven-Steps. Havn't ran into an issue yet with nearly 6k health and levels to spec into more life but I do expect its going to take more tuning.
Running this build but with 1K strength for the very nice leech/sustain.

Only level 84 atm and around 100 delve so far. My character is DecentralizedCommand.

Damage is quite insane for 4L/5L skeletons/zombies.

I may try to get a +level gems chest or run minion life/empower to make the zombies even more tanky.

Phase run is also amazing for delve/mapping. I just use a quicksilver flask and phase run through most packs while spawning skeletons here and there. I am also running haste instead of blasphemy for extra MS and buffs.

Still need to fix a few things but overall this is probably one of my favourite builds!

Anyway we could get leveling trees?

Or at least maybe just one more tree around level 70 or 80 would be awesome.
