I am torn between this build and the Fourmulaic Summoner (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2151224/page/1) which seems to be very, very fast but a bit squishy.

I don't have much currency or time so I have to be careful with both when it comes to spending them. How does this build (which has a much nicer guide) compare to the Fourmulaic one?

That guide is pretty darn detailed now: It was a bit unclear when it was first posted, but now it has great options, explanations, synergies and ideas. I enjoyed reading it, and also want to play with that build, but will probably not have the time either.

Looks like this build is simpler, levels easier and is cheaper, but that build has better clearspeed and better final form once you spend a ton of currency. (the build currently listed is waaay more expensive than this build can ever get)
I love how few button pushes it needs to clear maps, but the videos only show T11. I imagine it would get a bit risky running that fast in T15 maps. Conversely, this build doesn't lose much clearspeed at T15, and the playstyle doesn't get dangerous at high levels.
This one is better at lab runs, that one better at map farming with magic find gear.

This one seems to be less squishy, but that build got to level 100, so how bad can it be?

The good news is that the first 3 ascendencies are the same, the tree is the same up to about level 60, and many of the skill gems are the same, so you could get to the end of act 10, then spend a few chaos and regrets to swap builds for low level maps. That way you'll get to try both!

Thank you very much for taking the time to read through the other guide and explain core differences to me.
It looks like the Fourmulaic build seems to be very, very expensive while this one is cheaper and safer.

I will try yours :) Thank you again for helping me, really appreciate it.
I'm a little new to zombie/skelly builds. I've played plenty of spectre builds that could farm Shaper deathless.

The POB links don't seem to take advantage of The Baron's 2% leech. Am I missing something? They seem to sit around 700 strength. Or is it not necessary for end game content like Shaper, Red Elder, and guardians?

Thanks for the build guide, just cleared uber elder for the first time with it. Great all rounder build.

Can't overstate how much of a dps boost the +1 Gems and minion damage temple staff is. Made uber so much easier. Lvl 26 Skeletons are the nuts.

Hey, is the staff really worth the 10 exalts that ppl want for it?

It's probably a personal decision. I got mine for 7ex and I only think three of the affixes are at all useful, it's a low probability item so watching trade for a week+ can pay off. But I was stuck on uber and had loads of currency.

It definitely adds a lot of single target damage, which really helps in the bosses where minions have a low life expectancy. For me it probably made the difference in being able to kill uber or not. And Uber Atziri is way smoother when the skellies can phase her in a second or two.

I imagine if you're very good at PoE, just having a Queen's Escape you could clear everything on skill at staying alive. But it also depends on all your other gear to some degree.

If you've got the dosh, why not? If you're not saving to finance another build, what is there to do but min max?

You're not missing anything. The original build does not aim for 1000 strength, as it is not necessary to complete all content. Once you get a bit of currency, however, it is a great thing to aim for. Many players are swapping out violent dead for efficient training: this is just personal preference.

Zombies help a lot with clearspeed and tankiness, but will die at some stage to shaper or red elder or guardians, so at some point you'll be relying on skeletons only for damage, so you'll want to have enough invested in surviving without zombies to do them all deathless.

Hi all, i dont know how to improve anymore except 6L the weapon for zombie. Care to give feedback. Thanks Currently T13 so far.

Ahhh, one of the best parts about PoE. Planning / wishing how to next upgrade your character.

One possibility is upgrading a ring to The Hungry Loop. It can eat 4 support gems and can be a good spot for either AG or spectres. Takes some time and chaos, but getting a 5l ring is worth the effort. Just remember that gem quality is not used inside Hungry Loop.

And you have a few gems that need to be upgraded to 20% quality.

You have a lone CWDT just sitting there on your boots...?
Is it possible that I can get endurance charges from Animate Guardian's Ambu's charge?

Ambu's Charge shares charges with nearby party members, not allies.
Could you use loreweave over belly? or does it impact survival too much?

ah forgot to tell... currently not enough socket.... my plan before to upgrade my rare ring to unset ring so i can use purity inside it ... CWDT for the offering extra speed.

Loreweave is good. You just sacrifice a bit of flat life for much better elemental protection. Flasks are better at protecting from physical, so loreweave plus flasks like rumi's should mean safety from almost all oneshots.
