[3.9] Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer — Beginner/SSF/Budget Build

Question: with 3.9 we can no longer have 4 spectres. What do you use with 3?

How important is the +1 to minions wand if we cant hit 4th spectre trough gem levels anymore?

I'm currently lvl 76 in just started doing t3 maps. I'm not sure how important having 4 spectre's over 3 is, but I happened to have a Midnight Bargain drop for me which grants '+1 to max number of spectre's'. This is one way to work around the new cap of 3. However, the +2 convoking wand may still be better for the build overall, again I'm not that far into end-game and I'm still a relatively new player as this is only my 3rd league.

In your guide under gems you say not to forget to use bone armor. but you arnt spec'd into it under the passives. am i missing something?

If you click on one of your "spell-bound" keys, you should see the "Bone Armor" skill in the list of your spells you can bind. It's granted from one of your Ascendancy points.

That recipe for the +1 to minion gem on the elm isn't working anymore?
Tried here and nothing happened... =/

Not sure why... maybe you forgot an ingredient. I made sure to carefully follow that recipe to the 't' and it worked fine for me.

this build is very effective but I think it could use a bit more details now that I look at it. The final tree stopped when I was in the 70's

I'm close to maxing out the build according to the guide myself and I see that there are plenty of points to allocate as we get into the mid-90s with this build. If you're looking for where to go next when you reach this point, just use the search bar and type 'minion' and all minion related nodes will be highlighted. There are a few minion nodes not far away from where the guide has allocated that we can still reach. Either those few remaining minion nodes are a good way to transition or just health is always a good idea.

I have no claim to being knowledgeable in the slightest about this game, but I hope that this was somewhat helpful to those enjoying this build like I am. Good Luck Exiles!
Any opinions on MoM/using Diadem for this build?

I've played summoners a few times, mostly went specs and I didn't like the fact they could die easily on some mechanics, so I'm curious how skeletons will do in red tiers and endgame. Thanks for the build info. Using it mostly as a framework.
Just wanted to say thankyou so much for this build.

I have only died 4 times this league, and am sitting at 86 currently, which is far and away the best I have ever done in a league.

I am absolutely CRUSHING content and I am pretty much still only using gear I have found or crafted myself. I don't even have my final ascendancy yet and I easily clearing T9/10 maps, sitting pretty on about 7k ehp.

Thankyou so much!

EDIT: Cannot recommend using shield charge enough, it makes mapping go very very fast.
They transmit, we receive.

Hi guys,
1. Why is Blood Magic needed for Raised Spectre? I read this "They are heavily restricted by mana, which is why we use Blood Magic support to let them grant charges more frequently" but still don't get it.

2. Instead of using all rares, have anyone tried "strength stacking" with some unique items? How does it compare?

Thanks
dunno, but I love this build, I did things a bit differently but result is still good, lvl 85 gets MY vote, only in mid yellow maps so far (no uber lab yet)
EDIT: Sold the 6L.

You can wear an aromour with +1 spectres.
How did you get +2 to level of minion gems on your helmet so frequently? Idk if its just my luck but I still haven't found a single helm with it lol
my brutality isnt supporting the skeletons gem but works with the raise zombie gem?
Is it better to use multistrike for the best dps over ruthless/splash?
