Is there a POB for this or just the linked passive tree?

I've refrained from sharing one because PoB doesn't have the new gems or minion accuracy changes yet and the gear isn't very important, so I feel like it would be more confusing than helpful. If you just want to use PoB to look at the trees more easily, here's one with all the levelling trees (in the dropdown at bottom left): https://pastebin.com/YtmrZ1HF
Have you done something awesome with Sire of Shards? PM me and tell me all about it!
Tentative gem setups added to the top of the OP. Guide is now ready to use for 3.8. Obviously there's a lot more work to do, but I can't do anything more until the patch is released and I can test stuff.

EDIT: based on this information, it sounds like Carrion Golems will indeed be good clear as hoped. They deal slightly less damage than skeletons (but only slightly), but are extremely mobile and have built-in AoE. Have to test of course, but sounds promising.

Depending on how Skeleton dashes feel, Feeding Frenzy doesn't seem that great on them. Can probably replace it with another support instead.
I'm assuming the dash will be very, very good. If it's not as good as I'm expecting, then yes, it can definitely be replaced since golems will grant the buff.

So Carrion Golem gives 41 more physical damage to minions . . .is that even worth using? It's a pretty small buff to zombies which already have a crap load of physical damage isn't it?

It's a fairly small buff, yes. That's not really why I'm interested in them though. What I'm hoping is that the golems are actually good at clearing by themselves. Based on the info I linked above it sounds like they will be. If they're not, then a fairly large reshuffle of the gems will be required to bring back zombies as the secondary DPS.

Awesome guide, I'll be checking in on this a bunch as I'm planning on going summoner for my league starter. Would you mind critiquing my PoB tree? It seems you value mana a bit more than me and maybe jewel sockets less than I do. Here's the PoB https://pastebin.com/TfUZvS7B would love some input, thanks.

Hello, newbie here, thanks for the guide, it's realy helpful. Sorry if this sounds like a noob question but, I noticed that you said shield charge is optional, so can we switch to a 2h weapon for a 2nd 6L for zombies or carrion golem? And I couldn't see anything about From Dust Jewel, it seems like a good option to me.
Is this Build HC Viable? SHould be right - with a few adaptations
Maybe taking Bone Barrier instead of Mistress of Sacrifice?

I would love to test it out in SSF HC
